  1. And now I have the Dell U3415W. Here are some pics. Let me know of if you have any questions. First impression is wow it's huge. Picture is absolutely beautiful and seeing it for the first time is simply amazing. With just limited time using it I already can't imagine going back to my old monitor, it's just that good. So much real estate too. I can have multiple things going and still have left over space. If you have any questions just let me know
  2. I lost all respect for your arguments when you said Nvidia struggles to compete with Amd in graphics cards. As a matter of fact you will find that it's Amd having problems keeping up with Nvidia. Nvidia holds a 76% market share right now so don't be saying things along that line when it's clearly not true. I am a fan of both camps here but it's clearly obvious that you are a big Amd fan boy, which is not bad except when you are always pushing amd all the time. Either that or you feel the need to justify your 295x2 purchase. One way or the other I still believe that the 980ti is better in this situation. Single more powerful is always better, uses less power, and in the future you can easily add a second.
  3. yes i know some of the 980Ti versions are quicker then the TitanX, however things that doesnt change much is raw performance. What i do question though is the results of your benchmarks, even with a abnormally high GPU Boost, close to the 1500s, the results you are showing in some of the games makes little sense in some cases. I expect the 980Ti, even when overclocked to score high, but some results seems fishy, and their testing methodology isnt very clearly explained. The fact that they are running off a 4770k, at 4.4Ghz... well.... Most other benchmarks are made with X99 processors hitting clock speeds higher then that, and they are lower then yours... Drivers arent to blame here, so something is off. Please keep using that site if it makes you feel good though. I dont care either way. Depending on the GENERATION, dual GPU cards make sense if the price is right. Fury X2 will make sense too, because it is a CURRENT GEN GPU, rather then an outdated one. You are arguing that a flagship level NEW gpu is matching two last gen ones. And you know what, THAT's HOW IT SHOULD BE. A third and fourth gpu would be a waste of money. Please don't pretend like it wouldn't. Also your statement about crossfire better than sli is really funny. I don't think anyone could prove which one is better.
  4. Also if you want specifics well then here you go. Again this is all from the link I already posted. 1. http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/84629-palit-geforce-gtx-980-ti-super-jetstream/?page=8 2. http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/84629-palit-geforce-gtx-980-ti-super-jetstream/?page=10 3. http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/84629-palit-geforce-gtx-980-ti-super-jetstream/?page=7 4. http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/84629-palit-geforce-gtx-980-ti-super-jetstream/?page=6 There is just a few. Do I need to go on?
  5. Did you even look at the link I posted? Several of those games the 980ti beats the 295x2 even when crossfire is working. Also you keep avoiding the future part. You can't simply add a other 295x2 down the road, whereas you can add another 980ti.Also Maxwell is a year and a half old. First Maxwell card was introduced in February of 2014 (link at bottom is source). And in regards to how old it is, that doesn't really matter. I'm looking for performance https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell_(microarchitecture)
  6. That would make sense in one game, but as I said check out the rest of the games and the story is the same. The 980ti still is the better choice. Don't get me wrong, the 295x2 is a great card, but why would you want to go sli/crossfire (when we all know that's not as good as a single card) when you can get a single card for the same price for the same performance. And don't start by saying they are not the same performance because they really are. I could link several more websites that show that. Just go to techpowerup.com and look at any review of 980ti's and they all support what I'm saying.
  7. Where is this 20-30 fps gain of the 295x2 over any 980ti. Maybe, and it's a big maybe, you are referring to the reference 980ti I still don't see a big jump. Here is a link comparing the Witcher 3 which you can go back and also forward to check other games. http://m.hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/84629-palit-geforce-gtx-980-ti-super-jetstream/?page=11/ Not only that but in a lot of cases the 980ti's beat the 295x2. Combine that with the fact that it's uses less power and in the future when necessary you can add another 980ti it's really a no brainer. 980ti wins quite easily.
  8. I have the same parts. Here is the rest of my stuffFractal Design Define R5 Kingston HyperX Fury 16gb Evga supernova 1000 p2 Dvd burner drive Ek supremacy evo XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir pump combo Tubing Dell U3415W Corsair k70 rgb steelseries rival Corsair sp120s Alphacool nexxxos radiators Can't go wrong with any of that
  9. Talk what you will about other games but don't be talking bad about the Witcher. Games and books are amazing
  10. I had the Acer XB280HK and I sold it. Yea it was pixel dense but didn't really do much more for me. I am now fixing to get the Dell U3415W ultrawide. Fingers crossed that amazons big sale brings them down cheaper
  11. With the new 980ti out I don't think I would jump on the 980. My personal plan is to grab a 980ti now and then add another in the future when it is needed. Oh and I will be playing on 3440 x 1440 ultrawide.
  12. I have a Fractal Design Define R5 and I love it. Absolutely silent. I have the one with the side window so I can see the components. I got it for 90 on Amazon when it was on sale. Highly recommended it
  13. I've had a 4k gsync monitor and I sold it. I will be buying a curved 3440 x 1440 monitor soon. Hopefully amazon will drop the price during their big sale.
  14. Would love to try you guys out. I am always looking for new or not so popular companies to try out for PC stuff not only because they are better in most cases, but to also set myself apart. Also I've been considering starting a YouTube channel and this mouse would be the perfect start.
  15. Just browsing evga's site and saw this and wanted to share http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-5988-KR Oh wait I got excited too fast. It seems it's only the 980 and not ti
