yah i know, on my I7 4790K it dosent do this, had to do a run to make sure how do you even... FX is just strange... what do you score single core with that tho?
-
@Bananasplit_00 Funny you ask as I just posted a new Cinebench run on my profile page this morning.
-
shit why didnt i boot in single core no HT 5.5GHz or something silly like 1.45V i could have beeten @Mr.Meerkat in single core so much harder then i did
-
@Bananasplit_00 Are we really going to do the "highest single core" competition? I could have probably gone a little higher if I wasn't applying the OC to all cores
What single core ryzen looks like...
I only did something like 5 blocks of cinebench SC but as you can't see, it suddenly switched core?
Not as magical as the FX chip but dayummmmmmmm, suddenly switching it to another core is not something you see every day...

That's actually the Windows Scheduler doing the core switching. My 7900X would do the same thing if Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 didn't lock it to one or two cores.
You're right though, still not the same magic that @Bananasplit_00's AMD chip is doing. lol
