  1. That explains it. Thank you. Guess I'm going to have to sell this thing.
  2. It's on the right. Why the hell would they put a PCI slot on this thing? Didn't we retire that a while back?
  3. I'm having a bit of a problem with a christmas gift I got from my cousin. I asked her to get me a USB 3.0 expansion card, and I had assumed I could install it into my computer, but when I went to install it, I couldn't mount it into my 8x PCI-E slot. Here's the card in question: https://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Superspeed-Ports-PCI-Expansion/dp/B00FPIMICA/ref=pd_sbs_147_t_2/131-1260686-7422207?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00FPIMICA&pd_rd_r=0cb1f32e-c47e-431d-abdc-f97e54a0fa98&pd_rd_w=4WQ3I&pd_rd_wg=w2SkP&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=Y25M3Z8ZES4SDY8RRK0V&psc=1&refRID=Y25M3Z8ZES4SDY8RRK0V And my motherboard is a MSI 760GMA-P34 FX. The 16x Slot's taken up by a GTX 1060 and the 1x Slot, to my chagrin, is blocked by the GPU cooler. Is there some way I can get this blasted thing to work? Also, am I the only one who is starting to hate mATX as a form factor? Shit's condensed as all hell and I feel like I'm doing open heart surgery any time I open my case up to do anything.
  4. Alright. Do you have another PSU to try? Like I said - it could be the Cables themselves.
  5. Make sure the ATX Power cable is in securely if it's not already. If it doesn't - the Mobo or cable might be bad.
  6. Okay - give me a sec to look up the manual assoiciated with that mobo - Are you sure you don't even get a post beep?
  7. I'd chip in a little more just for a i7 - It' shouldn't be that much more expensive, unless there's a good reason you're getting a i5. Either way, If you don't want to splurge on the i7, What @Guuhan said should work just fine. If you change your mind down the line - you can always upgrade.
  8. Vacuum always makes a good Cooling system - Thing is - It'd be a b-word to get your PC up into orbit to enjoy it!
  9. Then in that case it uses the PoUSB Amperage - Around 1.5 Amperes if my googlefu is right.
  10. Now out - Microsoft Wallet! With a estimated install base of... ABSOULUTELY NOONE! But yeah - Microsoft is too little too late on this - They could have taken advantage of the NFC market if they did it.. 2 years ago.
  11. @SansVarnic, @Atmos - Thanks! @MyInnerFred - It's good to see another AC fan here. I'm hoping AC7 will be a return to AC's storytelling Roots, what with Osea and Erusea being in the teaser for it!
  12. Just wanted to say hello after the first few posts here. Not much I can say about myself here - but apart from that - I'm a avid gamer and PC Fanatic, with a heart for consoles (gasp). I'm a Huge Ace Combat fanatic as well, and am into quite a few things - ranging from Anime to Military Aviation. I discovered Linus around the time (1 year ago) I started Project Aelita - my first PC Build (which ultimately failed), and was instantly hooked on the vast information and content he had available. Anywho, I look forward to enjoying my stay here at LTT with you all.
