  1. So for some time now, ever since i had the chance to get a vacation (well even after that one week till now), i managed to really crunch on JP Light and Web Novels, it was a really exhilarating experience, which i will share it now, while trying not to spoil anything, first i started with the anime How not To summon a Demon Lord:

I'll also thrown in this video as its to funny not to do it:

I started with the anime because it makes the process of visualizing while reading way faster, eventually even with WN's/LN's that i don't see an anime of is done rather good but i do need to soak up some info for it to be a clear image, by this point in time i think that my mind has been warped so much that it became an anime studios in its own right.... Properly visualizing (even assigning seyuu's) all of the things as i'm reading... Also for all novels i will offer first the general description given by NovelUpdates, then my personal feedback on it, as they do a better job of describing them it then i'd ever do lol:

Now then... The fist one i started with was of course How not To Summon a DemonLord (Light Novel/Ongoing):

    The basic premise is this:

In regards to the MMORPG Cross Reverie, Sakamoto Takuma boasted an overwhelming strength that was enough for him to be called the Demon King by the other players. One day, he gets summoned to another world with his appearance in the game. There, there are two people that insist “I am the real summon master.” Takuma gets slave-turning magic used for summoned beasts cast on him by the girls –
However, the peculiar ability {Magic Reflection} was invoked! The ones that were turned to slaves were the girls!
Takuma was bewildered. He’s the strongest magician but, he doesn’t have any social skills. Panicking, the first words that came out were the ones that he used inside the game role playing the Demon King!? “I’m amazing you say? Of course I am. I am Diablo……The one feared as the Demon King!”
This is the story the Demon King (acting) that would soon inspire the world and his other world adventure that he plunges through with his absolute strength, raise the curtain!

Just like in the anime (if you saw the anime) the Demon Lord act is taken a bit to far and exaggerated a bit to much... That's the biggest fault i can honestly give it though, and while from time to time it is taken to far, it doesn't get in the way of the enjoyment of the novel. This is a very light spoiler, but i feel this needs to be said, the author, is a shrewd one, despite of quite a lack on the MC side with basic communications and lack of even basic social skills, as hopeless as he may appear to be early one, he is not dense, and is pretty good at both reading the mood and seeing through people, there is only one place where he made a mistake (and its also the only place where the author could have written it better, basically a certain situation with an Elf and a flute that felt forced) but the growth he got from that was well worth it at the end and in future endeavors, so it didn't bother me that much since the results that went from there for the story and character where quite nice even if the base was at first a bit unsteady. He is pretty OP but not invincible by a long shot, but the way he charges forward and thinks is really one of the biggest pros of this novel, and the way that he subtly grows. I read up to volume 10 and i can't wait to pick it up and continue.

The next novel was Skeleton knight in Another World (Web Novel/Completed):

The protagonist fell asleep while playing an online game. However, he awoke in a strange world with his game character’s appearance. In a state of shock, he noticed that he was equipped with nothing but his strongest weapon and armor. To make matters worse, our hero’s appearance was changed by the special avatar skin『Skeleton』when he entered this new world. The protagonist wanted to live without drawing attention, but he got acquainted with the dark elf Ariana and received her request.

It was a fun read, it has its faults, like the author in some fights making him feel all over the place, and there's to little development to some characters with quite a lot of potential, with quite a few of them you get the feeling "Hmm... he looks interesting, and there's a lot of exposition, i'm getting excited how it will work out" and then that character never to be mentioned again, at other times, its not just characters this happens in the story as well, there's a few events that makes you expect having quite large ramifications that just ends up in oblivion not being of any real influence... Despite that it was delectable, the world and lore is interesting, the story for what it is, its not bad, and i had fun reading it., this is also a good read for those that want nothing to do with Harems in there lecture.

Afterwards i proceeded with "That Person Later On" (Web Novel/Completed):

Wazu was an ordinary townsman who shut himself off in the “mountain” because of an unfortunate course of events. After 2 years, he decided to come down from the mountain to meet with people. But there were various misunderstanding about the “mountain” which he shut himself off in. And then he repeatedly had encounters with people. And after that. . .

For those like me that enjoy a light fantasy Harem story its a fun read, its faults being that its a bit rushed and jumps between events to fast/forceful, the end especially feels on the rush side. That said there's character development, lots of fun characters besides the protagonist (like the Dragon King and his family), while the protagonist starts of quite feeble personality wise he does have growth from all points of view (albeit rushed). As i said, a fun read, once the LN's are completed and translated i'm going to pick this one again, as i'm quite curious of the changes and i hope the author handles the rash nature better. This novel also sports an element i really, really love, different character POV's, well mainly for and his love interests, but its an element i really enjoy, not seeing it only from the point of view of the protagonist but from those that interacted with him and were saved by him. I will say this, the bandit encounters in this one summed up in one word: Priceless.

Last one would be Sevens (Web Novel/Completed, and this one was AMAZING):

Lyle Walt is a young noble boy and heir looking forward to the day he can inherit his family’s territory. Except around when he was 10 year old, his parents started neglecting him more and more in favour of his little sister, Celes.
On his fifteenth birthday, he is challenged to a duel by his sister to see who will inherit the household and horribly loses, being cast out of his family. Afterwards, he gets treated by the family groundskeeper and receives the family heirloom Gem from him that Lyle’s grandfather had entrusted to him. From there, he begins an aimless journey with his childhood friend and former fiancée, Novem, and the Gem-turned-Jewel that houses the memories, personalities, and Skills of seven of his ancestors.

I will be blunt, description wise it didn't sound that interesting, and i only started it because of the harem tag, i didn't had much expectations, BUT DAMN WAS I MISTAKEN! This, this is a masterpiece in its own right, up to volume 8 it was decent read, it didn't stand out but it was in no way a bad read either with an interesting point of view, however, after volume 8 it really picks up the pace and quite honestly i couldn't stop myself from reading it, i was glued for days! How should i say this ? It offers a really down to earth view on magic, being an adventurer (also focusing on the demerits and the problems and what it means down to even simple things as an adventurer) , and even harems. Don't be turned of by the harem tag on this one, because its not followed by the anime tropes of it, its portrayed in a more down to earth view, showing quite the gritty parts of being in such a situation, especially in working environments such it being with party members of your fellows adventurers (like being forced to see parts of others you wouldn't really like to see). There's a lot of movement behind the scenes, schemes and even factions, plus various other elements. Though while interesting don't worry harem is not the main part, the story is about him moving along in the world and growing, his hopeless at the start but grows quite impressively, this is the best and most amazing character growth i have seen in a protagonist EVER! The lore, the details and the story are nothing short of impressive as well, its really, really good. All characters are nicely elaborated, including the ancestors, they all got quite the story to share, with the 3rd and the 5th being my favorite. Unfortunately i can't get into the details why its so good and amazing as it would mean spoiling a lot (yup there's so many vital points into what makes it good that its hard to put it into words that wont spoil it), but please give it a try its really, really an amazing piece of work, this one i will definitely read it again once the Light novel is completed.
