    980 ti for productivity

Do take note that the tensor cores on the 2060/2070 can help with deep learning/machine learning, if your productivity work also includes that it might not be bad to go for those. If it doesn't yeah going for the 980TI feels good value wise.
  2. This gives a whole new meaning to exploring the black hole:

  3. You probably heard the expression "the sky is the limit" well not to the anime community, they will go where no one has ever gone before and lewd even a black hole:

    Gotta love their tenacity.

    1. Cyberspirit

I haven't played Sekiro yet, is this safe to watch?

    2. _StrikE_

      @Cyberspirit yup, don't worry.

  5. So last year i found a game that caught my fancy but it was announced that it will only come later this year, never forgot about it but i did forget the name, yesterday i decided to check up on it, IT TOOK ME HALF A DAY AT LEAST to find the game at one point i thought i dreamed it or something.... I barely managed to find it after a lot of searching and browsing through a lot of articles and videos, but i did it i found it, Wing Of Darkness:

This is the PAX english video:

Searching for this was quite a challenge it nearly drove me insane...

  6. You have all probably heard the expression "anime on crack", well this anime on coke:

    Its also addicting as hell...

    1. Skanky Sylveon

      Skanky Sylveon

Coke as in the soda, cocaine, or the old versions of the soda that had cocaine in it?

Yes, coca cola used to have cocaine in it until the 1930s, the coca leafs are still actively used actually, the cocaine is just processed out of the leafs.

Although there still may be trace amounts of cocaine in coca cola that we don't know about.

    2. _StrikE_

@Skanky Sylveon looking at the video... i guess all of the above ?

  7. Addicting Anime Clips that you could listen to for hours part 2:

Your day is ruined and you can't get it out of your head ? Please direct all hate messages to @Skanky Sylveon, his the one that started it with Aya, Aya...

    Full video for reference/research purposes:

Again not that i listened for hours.... But yeah i did it.

That said game of the year, will play, 10/10, waifu/pantsu award:

Edit: forgot to mention the game will actually be a mix between mass effect 3 style of space exploration mixed with shootemup for the space mission and xcom for land missions. And of course lots of plot, thick plot apparently. More info on their Kickstarter i guess ?

@Cyberspirit apparently its their first one, they where looking for an alternative to SFM since it seems its to buggy for the type of content they do and when playing with unreal they found out they could make a pretty cool gaming project, so this started.

    3. Cyberspirit

That's cool, guess we'll see how it turns out. I never animated myself but, nowadays most people dropped SFM and moved onto blender instead from what I can tell.

    4. _StrikE_

@Cyberspirit no there's a confusion, blender is a program that you can use to create 3D renders/models and animations. Source filmmaker was a modified source engine designed to create movies using 3D resources, same resources as for games. And now Studio FOW has moved to unreal engine to make their movies.

  9. Gonna take a break, I'm pretty sure I won't browse the forum, but every now and then i will look up status updates, of the people i follow, sorry towards all the nice content I'll miss....

VRAM Usage GDDR5 vs GDDR6 at Same Graphical Settings?

2560x1080 for resolution, i used fraps this time as i didn't bothered with MSI afterburner with this windows reinstall, i may do it at a later time, but right now everything is really heck-tick for me, in game it said it would use 6.03 Gb, but i would take VRAM usage in software with a grain of salt, this video explains a few things nicely: If the card is fast enough that by the time scenes change it can flush old resources while loading new ones then down to a certain point VRAM doesn't affect you much.

VRAM Usage GDDR5 vs GDDR6 at Same Graphical Settings?

I have a friend in Africa so i understand your concern to data caps, that out of the way... Honestly thanks for the heads up i had no idea about the update... Game looks gorgeous/amazing with it so i can see why you really wanna keep it besides the bandwidth investment. As for the results, honestly it makes no difference, performance wise, i get the very same results i had before, i play on the highest settings preset, and of course i went in advanced settings menu and activated the HD textures, except for the improved visuals i get the same stable 60 FPS with some dips to 57-56 FPS lows ever so rarely then ( i have no idea about the maximum frames since i didn't bothered disabling V-Sync, before they where at 75-80). Do take note though that i'm running the game of an SSD and i do have the best RTX 2060 card variant, also i could only test the ancient forest now, previously i could all zones but due to me being stupid and accidentally deleting my main save i lost access for now, basically i hunted 2 monsters, and took a lap around the ancient forest. But this update sure gives back life and fun to the game, i may start it up again.

I'll test it out if you want since i have an rtx 2060 and mhw, just need the update.

Good CPU to pair with 1050ti

Well for most games and dota it will be fine, especially 60 fps, but for cpu intensive games like pubg, ashes of the singularity, assassin's creed games, it will stutter, pretty badly.
  14. Adicting anime videos that i could watch for hours part 1:

Blame this idea @Skanky Sylveon , also of course i'm not saying i've actually watched this for hours....

But i did watch it for hours... and hours... and hours... did i actually said i watched it ? Sorry i meant i'm watching it for hours...

  15. I don't know about the Booksize PC, but not everyone is perfect, JayztoCents made some pretty bad mistakes with the FX cpu's, especially his OC guides for them where sh... and filled with wrong info, but that wont make me say everything he does is bad, in fact most of his content is nice, at the end of the day they are people to, and are allowed to be mistaken once in a while. Hardware unboxed's tests include everything from newer titles to older ones, they had games that favored both card if you bothered to watch the video honestly, i dunno about the past but ever since i started watching them they do some of the most extensive tests, and that video is only two months old so its still pretty relevant, i haven't really watched them for anything else but as far graphic card reviews go they are in line with tech jesus (and they both respect each other while having some different approaches so that to helps to). Of course there's bad 1060 cards, there's pretty much bad cards for most models out there, it was night and that reply was given in a hurry as i was on a late shift at work, but i only meant that the 1060 3Gb doesn't have to be completely disregarded as an option if the budget was very strict and the difference in money was big up to an RX, not that he should definitely go buy it. As far as strictly cards go the Zotac 1060 is more reliable then the Armor RX580, but your going to miss out on the free games then, value wise in all honesty if you can go to a higher tier then at least look for an RX570 8Gb that isn't an armor as you get a free game with that to (if the game isn't interesting to you i'd go with the Zotac then though), best case though is an RX580 that isn't an armor as that is a card that will set you up for quite a while and you also get 2 free games.
