  1. Do either of you own the mouse? If you do, does it appear in CUE for you and/or in Windows as a mouse and not a keyboard?
  2. I bought a Corsair Vengeance M65 gaming mouse. When I plug it in, Windows detects it as a mouse of the correct name, however the icon in the Devices window is that of a keyboard. Also, the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) failed to detect the mouse at all. The Corsair forums haven't been very useful. This is a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro x64 (twice) and across two machines. I have tried deleting the device from the device list and also nearly all my USB ports. Any thoughts? Any other people in the club actually have it working in CUE and/or showing as a mouse in the Devices list? Thanks in advance.
  3. Looking for a recommendation on a new USB hub. Here are my requirements: Must be black. Must be USB 3.0. Must have at least 6 ports. Device charging is not a priority, but would be useful. Ports must be located only on one side of the hub and preferably not the top face. Hub preferred to be "broad and flat" as it is being mounted on the back side of my desk and I'd like to be relatively flush with the wall. It doesn't suck with weird anomalies like having to re-plug in devices after coming out of sleep and other weird scenarios. Cost isn't a factor. Must be a respected manufacturer. Must be a Type-A connector. Optionally, my motherboard has a USB 3.1 Type-A port. Would accept 3.1 hubs with the above requirements for a bit of future-proofing. Not required. I just want my devices to work all the time. My hub now is weak sauce and unreliable (and only 2.0 and isn't black and has ports on both sides making for ugly management). Thanks in advance.
  4. I don't have it yet. It's in the mail. I'm just anxious. lol I should be here Monday or Tuesday. I *guess* I can wait.
  5. Thanks for posting the picture. I was thinking that too, but I wasn't sure.
  6. I want to get an EVGA-branded SLI bridge. I'll be running two EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ placed in the two tan PCIe slots on an ASUS X99 Sabertooth motherboard. I don't know how long the SLI bridge needs to be. 2-way short (40 mm) 2-way long (60 mm) 3-way/2-way (80 mm, 40 mm spacing) 4-way (120 mm, 40 mm spacing) I could wait for the equipment to arrive and measure myself, but I thought I'd see if anybody knew from experience. Thanks in advance.
  7. Understood and I am OK with that. I'm not pro by any means. I prefer smoothness vs more FPS. Thanks, all.
  8. If I understand things... You get tearing if your graphics subsystem provides more FPS than your monitor's refresh rate. You get stuttering if your graphics subsystem provides too few FPS for your monitor's refresh rate. If you're OK with a 60 Hz monitor and you have a graphics subsystem that can drive a minimum of 60 FPS, is enabling v-sync a reasonable option to eliminate tearing and stuttering? I'm not interested in G Sync or Freesync or more than 60 FPS. I'm more interested in a smooth FPS. Be gentle and thanks in advance.
  9. Nevermind. I think I found my answer here. "SLI would be supported with smaller cards like our STRIX 960 or DC Mini 960 or 970. With normal length cards it would not work with the Hyperkit. The only option would be to use the PCIe add in card."
  10. Piecing together a new build and was hoping to find some advice on potential clearance issues. Motherboard - ASUS X99 Sabertooth Graphics Cards - 2x Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP! Extreme Storage - Intel 750 through the M.2 hyperkit The graphics card is a 2.5 slot card. Anybody know if there will be enough clearance on the motherboard for two of them and still have enough room for the actual hyperkit connection port on the M.2 board? Thanks in advance.
  11. With the front panel on the Fractal Define S, the air comes in through the side vents. Would you recommend static pressure fans or air flow fans? Hard to tell how impeding that geometry is. Thanks in advance.
  12. DDR4 memory is hitting higher MHz. Up to 3300 MHz and beyond. The Intel Core i7-5960X Processor Extreme Edition processor is rated for DDR4 1333/1600/2133 MHz memory. The ASUS SaberTooth X99 is rated for DDR4 2400/2133 MHz memory. Can the CPU support DDR4 memory > 2133 MHz? Can the motherboard support DDR4 memory > 2400 MHz? Was this a simple matter of "the state of the technology" at the time the specifications were published? Thanks in advance.
