  1. So its been a while since the last time I really needed help but here's my problem. So we were moving a lot of furniture and we decided to install our modem and a linksys 8port gigabit ethernet switch (LGS108) into our home ethernet/phone line/coax box. I rerouted all the ethernet wall ports from the telephone lines to the 8 port switch, one port of which is connected to our modem. It works for my windows pc direct from the wall, but when I try to connect my mac or my router (netgear r8000), I get a bunch of various IP address not found errors. I can't find a detailed answer anywhere else online so I'm coming to y'all for help. If you need any more details, I'll be happy to supply them.
  2. My ticwatch s seems to be having some weird screen issues. Last time this happened I turned it off and let the battery drain for a few weeks before recharging it and bam, fixed. It seems a lot worse this time. Any ideas? There seems to be burn in and empty lines of pixels but the burn in happens after about 3 seconds of an image being on the screen and there's also this weird purple spot... see the image
  3. I'm going to assume that you're asking if the different brands of 1080ti have any differences. Well, other than the custom coolers that they may have, some brands like EVGA have custom overclocked components at a price. Usually the manufacturer will have any special information on their website, so if you need any help finding it, tell which ones you're looking at.
  4. I'm 90% sure it comes with all mounting brackets for intel and amd
  5. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/8rFrbj All I did was add the cpu cooler you could also add some fans or led strips with the extra money
  6. Where did you buy this from? Could there be any information from the seller or manufacturer on this? To me it looks as though you should be able to remove the mounts form the old fan but as you said you cant.
  7. The 212 EVO would work in this build. Did you have any preferences?
  8. Cooling also depends on the case you have in mind. Have you used PcPartPicker? It may be useful at this point for pricing and compatibility
  9. Do you see any way to take the threads out from the old one?
  10. The only thing I hit 100% utilization for on my CPU is scrubbing and rendering videos. I have a 4670k. For recording and gameplay, you will likely have no problems.
  11. That's a good start. I don't know about pricing in Europe, but what price are you looking at for an i5 processor?
  12. So for recording, you can use nvenc, which barely affects your performance. Comes with any nvidia card. Seeing as the only thing you definitely want is the monitor, that's the first thing you should budget.
  13. Well, LoL Isn't super intensive, overwatch is a bit more intensive, but basically any of the latest nvidia cards should get you there (perhaps the 1070 for your price range). As for other parts, what are you looking for? Intel or amd CPU, how much ram, any preferences?
