  1. Okay thank you. I can't reply to everyone since I'm on my phone sorry about that. But so you're saying that there's profit to make if I start going for ETH2 instead? Because we're doing this to make profit, we still have jobs on the side of course so this will be a long term investment! Thank you for your help
  2. Budget (including currency): 500.000 SEK (~$50.000 Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mining Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello so together with a friend of mine we want to set up a PC or multiple for the sole reason of mining. We're quite new to this but Etherium or Bitcoin is what we're most likely after to mine, if that makes a difference. The PC will not be used for anything else. No gaming, YouTube, browsing the Internet or anything like that. Literally only mining. What should we look for? What GPU is the best? Any help is appreciated and even helping us building a complete one would be very very appreciated! We don't have a budget. Of course we can't spend a million dollars but up to $50k is not unreasonable. I really appreciate your help, thank you!
  3. Make sure the triangle at the bottom corner of the CPU is lined up with the triangle on the motherboard
  4. If you're into that stuff you can build your own with that budget. There's plenty of sites where you can find everything you need and it's not very hard to build your own. You literally just pick the keycaps, case, switches etc and then assemble it. This way you'll get everything you want. And those sites also has pre-built ones that are very nice. Or pre-selected kits that have everything you need to just assemble it. Be sure to pick a hot-swap PCB though otherwise you need to solder the switches to it. Edit: This is the site I'm gonna be using soon to build my custom keyboard https://kprepublic.com/collections/ktec-series
  5. Sounds like something GPU related. Do you have the newest drivers? Also check your temps of your CPU and GPU when gaming using something like OpenHardwareMonitor.
  6. My phone is about to die but in my signature is a picture of my pc. I just removed the front fans and placed the aio there and put the fans on the back of the aio. Wouldn't look as good on the 4000x though but since the Lancool II doesn't have any visible fans at the front it worked for me
  7. I googled it real quick and this guy is using that case with an Asus Prime Mobo and Corsair Vengeance RAM along with a top mounted AIO. I don't have the 4000x case but I have the same Mobo, RAM and AIO but in my Lian Li Lancool II there was not enough room to mount it at the top so I put it in the front.
  8. But the recommended specs for CS:GO is as follows: CS: GO Recommended System Requirements CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5700 3GHz / AMD Phenom 8750 Triple-Core RAM: 2 GB HDD: 15 GB of storage space GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 / AMD Radeon HD 6670 OS: Windows 7 DirectX: Version 9.0c Screen Resolution: 1080p Network: Broadband Internet Connection So I don't understand how 4 GB RAM can be so bad as you make it out to be? If you look on YouTube you can see that even 2GB of RAM is enough to run the game. And the CPU doesn't overheat because it's bad. It overheats because your cooling is bad.
  9. Uhm, how does low RAM memory fry the CPU if you don't mind me asking?
  10. Yeah I'm still confused. I apologize I'm just completely shit at math. I'm trying to learn. Each package of tiles measures 90x90 if you put them all in a square. 90x90 is 8100 84000 / 8100 is 10.37 which is the same conclusion as your answer. Am I correct when calculating this way? Or am I making it to complicated for myself? And yeah it seems like 3 packages is way to few. Unfortunately I knew it was to good to be true lol because one package was like $15 so I was pleasantly surprised when I thought I could cover my entire balcony for like 50 bucks lol. But that's why I decided to write here because if something is to good to be true, it probably is. And I just saved myself a ton of work. Thank you!
  11. Hello I didn't know how to phrase it in my title so sorry for being so vague. Okay so I have a balcony that is 300cm wide and 280cm deep. I want to buy outdoor wood tiles to cover the whole -or most of it- concrete floor. Each package of tiles comes with 9 tiles each measuring 30x30cm. I am absolutely shit at maths but I tried my best and I am in need of your help to tell me how wrong I am. Basically I calculated the total area. Which is 300x280 which is 84,000 or 8.4 metres. I then calculated the total area of each tile package. 9x30 is 27 so the area each package will cover is 2.7 metres. I then took the total area 8.4 divided by 2.7, the area each set covers. Which is 3.1. So in my calculations I would need to purchase 3.1 sets of tiles to cover the entire balcony. I'm rounding this down to 3 packages since I'm not going all the way to the edges and that will take into account of the missing 10cm missing on each edge. How correct is this? Thank you for your help!
  12. Okay sweet I'll start working then and see what I can come up with! And yeah I'll have 5 different QR codes, one for each stand. And the URL's will be randomly generated strings or something that I can find online. Like one of those random password generators or whatever.
  13. Yeah I think this is the route to go. Unfortunately I'm not sure I can code that much, but I have about two weeks to show off a demo or at least give a presentation of exactly how it will work when it's done. Is it also possible for the users to log in to their account and see all their cards on the same page? So that they can see their "hand" if you know what I mean. Presumably by just taking the data from the database and showing it all on one page. And again, thank you for your help!
  14. Gonna answer you both here. I can get a host where I can store the files needed and upload the website. I also took a look at the link Nayr sent and it seems pretty straightforward. However once I've done that. Let's say people get access to the site, create a login with their password etc. What would you recommend that I do next? I feel very stuck. The idea is that they somehow get a random card, they save it (screenshot it or whatever) and then move on to the next checkpoint and get an additional card and then do that until the last checkpoint. While also making sure it's not easy to cheat. Do I create a code for their account, can I somehow save a file for each account on the server to make sure they didn't cheat etc. I'm all out of ideas that are plausible for me to pull off alone. I really appreciate your help!
  15. Yes exactly! I've searched but I can't find anything unfortunately..
  16. Yeah they used to hand out the cards but due to Covid they want to avoid as much human interaction as possible. I've never made a website/app that required any sort of login before, how hard is this? As I said it just has to be reeeeeally simple. It would be possible to even create accounts beforehand and then give each person a paper with their own login and password so they don't have to create an account themselves. If that makes it easier. Thank you for you help, I'm gonna ask you the same thing I asked the commenter above you in the second paragraph. Thanks again!
  17. Hello. I tried to explain in the title but it got very messy. I'll try to keep it short. There's an upcoming event that my family member is hosting and they asked me if I could create something for them that they could use. It does not have to look good in any way, it just has to work. Basically it will work like this: X amount of people will go around to different stations. At each station they will get a card. They will travel around to 5 different stations and get a different card at each one. However, it has to be secure. At first I made a website that just showed you a random card when you scanned a QR code. But this would allow people to just refresh the page or scan the QR code multiple times. There's a big price involved so I have to make sure people can't cheat. I also tried making it so people can't refresh the page but that means they could still just scan the QR code again. My plan was to have 5 different QR codes and webpages that generated a random card from a specific collection but this isn't very safe at all. I'm not super knowledgeable in programming but I know the basic stuff. But I figured I'd ask here and maybe someone has a better suggestion! There will be someone to monitor people, so it's not like it has to be 100% un-crackable. Just not as easy as I said above, refreshing the page etc. Is this possible? And what would be the best approach for this? A mobile app, a website? Thank you for your help!
  18. As Downkey said, just wait. Even the "not anything ULTRA" cards are very expensive right now. So it's better to just wait.
  19. Usually I prefer white builds if you're going for lots of RGB but I really like this one actually. But I personally would go for an AIO instead of an air cooler
  20. Personally I don't like the CPU cooler. Mainly because it pretty much covers up everything in the case and not because of the cooler itself. I like to see all the parts! But overall a nice build
  21. I think it's better if you show us your entire PC and we can see if there's something else to change. Since under normal circumstances you shouldn't need to attach fans to the back of your GPU.
  22. Ah I see you have the other 3 fans at the back I was like where the heck did he fit those! Also that's pretty much how my build is gonna look but all white and with the GPU mounted vertically
