  1. I've been on the search to update my main screen which use for games, media consumption and Photoshop. The Razer Raptor is currently on sale £339 for the 144hz model. This is more than was looking to spend but if it's good for the price then l'd consider it. Really what my question would be is, for that value or less, what's the best bang for the buck at 1440p sub £300? Anything over 144hz im fine with. At the moment the Odyssey G5 is looking like my alternative
  2. Check the post - did mention the bio issue
  3. Is it worth spending the extra on a 5500xt/1660 though? The 5600xt is a bit out there but used might be an option
  4. I don't need anything overkill, I'm trying to run Warzone at the moment and there's a slight struggle/ Just want something reliable
  5. The £200 is already considering selling my other card unfortunately, stretching the budget as is
  6. Might look out for a refurbished model to save a few quid, brand new 5600 is a bit much for me
  7. Just saw that link, looks pretty good. Is a bit more expensive than I'd want to pay but will definitely look into it more
  8. Is the 1660 worth the price difference over the 1060?
  9. Any recommendations for sub £200? At least 6GB is preferred, would also prefer having 2 HDMI ports if possible but not necessary. Smaller width would also be better due to having a smaller case but can make whatever fit, just want the best all round card. Considering the 580/590/5500xt Or on the green team 1060/1660? Haven't kept up much with the newest generations so a bit lost here Ignore the build below its my old one - New build is r5 2600, 12GB RAM
  10. I dont no, not sure if I know anyone that would have one either. Nope, no USB devices do.. Not sure what to do
  11. Can't even get through the password screen as there's no keyboard to type it in. bit of a sticky situation
  12. Am trying to fix a friends older desktop (IMEDIA S2185), the issue is that the USB devices work when booting the PC but as soon as the OS loads (Windows 8.1) they stop working altogether. I've tried the devices in my laptop and it works fine. Have also tried resetting the CMOS, and adjusting BIOS settings but no luck. Any ideas of what could be causing this?
  13. I would call but the cost of calling a number is America would not be worth it. I live in the UK so I had to use their ticket system. Takes a day for each reply, waiting 3 days to find out that I wouldn't be able to get a replacement.
  14. I can't call them as they only have a US number, I live in the UK. I created a ticket with which they gave me that response, so I said they it was ridiculous and was there any other option. They responded that was the only one they could give me
  15. Has anyone else had experience with XFX customer support? I've wanted to RMA my PSU but they've come back saying that I will have to pay for shipping to Holland, which is fair enough. But I may also have to pay the importing tax if it occurs once it's complete. which can range between 50-100 euros (more than the power supply is worth). On top of that, it could take up to 8 weeks for the RMA to be processed and shipped back. Not going to lie I expected more from the "5-year warranty" than having to pay more than the component is worth to get it fixed. Anyone else had any bad experience? Want to see if someone else managed to come to a better conclusion
