Yep i know about the sub profiles thing, I got a few other profiles from Reddit. Corrosive, EMP, Plasma, Underwater, 1Up, Lightning. The software is pretty tough to figure out, but I'm getting some cool effects

I have a GTX 970 with 3.5/.5 (4) gb of vram, and I have a 34" UW 1440p display coming in next week. I can let you know then how it performs with GTAV or Skyrim, bioshock etc.

I come from the car world, but the rule of thumb is basically "how fast do you want to spend" New, you can get a 960 for about $200, 970 - $350, 980 - $500, 980Ti - $650, Titian - $1000. Unfortunately I don't really know about AMD pricing, but they just announced new 300 series cards.

Hey guys, I just got a K70 RGB from Massdrop, but every time I restart my computer if doesn't remember my rgb profile. The colors are correct, but I have some fade and color change effects that the keyboard doesn't remember. I have to open the Corsair Utility Engine and then it remembers the effects. I am probably doing something wrong, but let me know. I have the profile set as my default, and I have added the profile to my device memory. Thanks

My work computer is a Macbook Pro, and and I have been a mac user for the last 8 years so I'm used to that flat switch type keyboard. The software is much better than reviews I heard when it came out, but it is far from intuitive. It's easy to set colors, but making effects is where it gets wonky. It's very, very powerful (just look on youtube for all the cool effects), but has a steep learning curve.

I just got a K70 RGB with Browns from Massdrop. OH. MY. GOD. It is one of the best keyboards I have ever used! I am mainly a Macbook Pro user, so I am used to that kind of keyboard, but oh man are the browns good to type. Now I just need to learn the software to make it do cool stuff!

Hey, I am looking to get an expansion card for some more usb ports in the back of my case. I just got a K70 (which I love) but it takes up 2 of the 6 USBs i have on my MoBo. I was looking at a few different PCIE cards on newegg, but they all seem to have bad reviews, average of a 3, but more than 50% are 1 stars. Does anyone have any recommendations?

For the same money, why wouldn't you just get a GTX 960?

I get about 70k on my 970 and about 2500 on my 4690k

Newegg has a deal today for 3x 2tb Seagate Barracuda drives for like $239. I know they are not WD, but it might be worth looking into.

1tb for your drive might not be enough, I have a ton of music (120gb) and about 50 steam games. I have a 2tb and its about half filled. A 2tb probably won't be much more than the 1tb you have, but if you have a smaller library, it would probably be fine.

Basically it is alleged that the FBI set up shell companies to fly spy planes over the USA. Hey guys, I currently have an ACER G246HYL 24" LED IPS Monitor - Full HD, 1920 x 1080 Resolution, 6ms Response Time, 16:9 Aspect Ratio monitor I picked up in December on sale for my new computer. I just got into gaming again and went a bit cheap. Is it worth it to get the LG 34UM94 Ultrawide Monitor on Massdrop? Its a 1440p 34" 21:9. (27" 16:9) I don't really have any current AAA games other than GTAV but I'll probably get Fallout 4 when it comes out. My other thought was to keep the monitor and upgrade to a GTX 980Ti. They are about the same cost. Thoughts? PS I am running an i5 4690k and a GTX 970
