This is why you clean your waterloops folks. That used to be just demiwater with some biocide.

flush number 3 was pretty close to totally clear, so i'm gonna run flush number 4 for the night. pretty curious how much gunk is left when i replace the liquid again tomorrow morning.

This is why I am air cooling. Less maintenance and very reliable.

I've had my rig running for 9 month and done pretty much 0 maintenance on it. Coolant is still gucci

Because it's liquid and I can run all fans idle, other than intense gaming, I only blast it with a compressor maybe like once every 3 month or something

i had this loop running for about a year now. i try to do loop maintenance every 6 months, and i change the tubes every year or so.

keep in mind this system is running 24/7 on high loads with high wattage components in a small formfactor mATX case. so definitely not ideal circumstances there.

@OlympicAssEater (great name btw) if i was shooting for reliability i would definitely have gone for air cooling here aswell. i love the look of watercooling tough, and it's much quieter compared to the same system when it was still running on air.

also, i don't really mind the maintenance, it's all part of the hobby imo.

@RollinLower Nice man. I had 2 AIOs failed on me in the past. Corsair H100 and Corsair H110. I switched to Noctua NH D15S ( space clearance than NH D15 ) and I like it more. The only 2 dislikes are the brown color fan that come with it, and cheap aluminum fan clipper onto the heatsink.

@OlympicAssEater well noctua makes chromax variants of their fans, i use chromax NF-F12's in all my builds that arn't too small to fit them!

Flush number 4 which has been running for close to 10 hours is pretty much clean, so I'll fill her up one last time and call it good!
