  1. My rig specs: CPU i5-2500 (set to turbo on all cores at 3.7 GHz) GPU: HD 7950 RAM: 3x4GB 1600MHz I am betting there is some software issue with the hd 7950, since GTX 960's seem to be at least capable.
  2. I would like to win the keyboard, because after typing on a IBM model M for a while, your average membrane keyboard does not exactly cut it anymore.
  3. SSD's are the future for one thing. Their prices are decreasing so quickly and the technology going into SSDs is still improving, whereas hard drives improve at a much slower rate, and their prices are not decreasing very quickly either. The biggest reason to get a SSD would be random reads and writes. Hard drives do fairly well when writing and reading sequentially, but random reads and writes as well as the latency involved with hard drives, make them exponentially worse than hard drives.
  4. I would get a mini PC for my dad. It would do all he needs to do without taking up quite as much space. He might run into a gaming bottleneck later though. 5. I would like this pc for its portability. It would be easy to take it to a hotel or wherever there is an hdmi tv, plug in a mouse and keyboard and start gaiming.
  6. I really hope someone tries this. If it works, it should change how people with an adjustable blck look at the product stack.
  7. Hey, I was just wondering, with the decoupled blck in the z170 chipset, would it be possible to overclock an i3, a pentium, or even a celeron processor? Maybe even a non-k i5 or i7. The i3 chips would be much more attractive for budget builds if you could squeeze some more gigahertz out of them to help them equal some of the i5's power, and if you could save some money buying a non-k, low-end i5 and still get almost 4 ghz out of it in the end, Skylake would start to look much more enticing to me and possibly many other budget builders.
  8. My Current Mouse is uncomfortable to use for long periods of time, and does not even have dpi control or any gaming features whatsoever. Any mouse worth 10 dollars would be better than my current mouse.
  9. Hi I was trying to update the bios on a p67 Sapphire Pure Black Hydra motherboard, and when I downloaded the update package from Sapphire's website, these items were inside (If the picture does not work just let me know) I have no idea what to do with these files. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  10. Sorry to butt in on the conversation, but the GTX 960 will outperform the r9 270 and the GTX 960 will consume less power than the 270 will. Although you will have to decide whether the extra performance and efficiency is worth the GTX 960 price premium. GTX 960 3Dmark score: http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/NVIDIA+GeForce+GTX+960/review R9 270 3Dmark score: http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/AMD+Radeon+R9+270/review Also, the motherboard that Agazed suggested does have four USB 3.0 ports (2 front and 2 back), according to the ASrock website.
