Buizel10 reacted to Clanscorpia in Desperate for a Gaming PC for under £100. Is it possible?
I don't know any in the UK but another good idea would be to maybe set up a steam account on twitch and watch the MLG tournaments for CSGO next week and sell the packages. A cobblestone on is roughly $70 CAD so if you win 2-3 you could make maybe 100-200 pounds.

No iGPU on the Xeon
Thats it

Buizel10 reacted to Amazingasian in Need a pc that runs The Division Good frames medium graphics min
380 is good. For a PSU, I'd suggest the 520W Seasonic S12II or 500-550W XFX TS units.

Buizel10 reacted to dragoon20005 in Need a pc that runs The Division Good frames medium graphics min
upgrade the PSU and GPU
your i7 is still a workhorse

Buizel10 reacted to dragoon20005 in Help me identify fan socket?
LGA 775 uses the 72mm width for the push pin mounts
so your is the Core 2 Duo era coolers
the Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Extreme later models have the copper center for better heat dispersion to the aluminum fin arrays

Buizel10 reacted to Ddave in is it the ideal setup
My advice:
- Get a better SSD (Check if the Samsung Evo fits your budget).
- Get a better PSU (Don't have a recommendation for this).
- Avoid using multiple font styles, sizes, and colors.

Buizel10 reacted to ProLogic in Planning to join the PC master race
Seeing as i know nothing about picking the right parts, i have decided to ask for some help.
My budget is 500 GPB (I can stretch this slightly if needed)
I plan to use the system for Gaming, Browsing and sometimes Photoshop
So far i have only used consoles for gaming (I've never had a gaming capable computer), this will be my first build.
I already have a keyboard, mouse and a display so don't include them.
I also plan to run two displays.
Notify me if you need more infomation.

You must mean GBP? You might want to throw in a SSD later on. Oh and I forgot to mention; welcome to the PC Master Race!

If your not overclocking, use a 4790 and a AsRock anniversary H97. Overclocking = 4790K + AsRock anniversary Z97
