    Could it be your hard drive or ssd? Try takng out your memory, CPU and GPU and reseating them.

    X79 is still excellent and there hasent been enough change to make it worthy to upgrade yet, but skylake-e might make a improvement.

    According to the official CPU Support List provided by Foxconn, a FX 8350 is not officially supported. I found a Foxconn A88GMX for C$75 on ebay so I would like to use it on a FX 8350. Do you think this should work?

    i7 is a workhouse. 12GB RAM is a workhouse Mobo is OK. I would recommend 7950 and a XFX 550W
