i'm genuinely planning a build in this case! i'm going to be deploying to Afghanistan later this summer and instead of buying a new awesome gaming laptop like i did for my last deployment, i'm going to do a build in this case and get a small monitor to go with it. i'm going for portability while still being able to upgrade in the future, unlike a gaming laptop.

hey i'm def down to play, but i'm into Battlefront and Fallout 4 right now. i'll definitely hit you guys up when i get back into Elite. i'm pretty ADD with games so i bet another month and i'll switch again LoL. plus i just got windows 10 and the in place upgrade got all screwed up so i did a fresh install and i don't have elite installed anymore.

i think the ZBOX is an awesome idea because it's got the portability of a laptop but you can bring your favorite mouse and keyboard with it. I'd love to have one!

nice looking gear Feenix! i think my favorite would be the headphones because they look beautiful!

i think we'll be putting a blanket underneath the case box before putting it in the car. same concept. thanks for the opinion and reminder, i'd honestly forgotten about putting a blanket underneath of it. -

yea that's what i was thinking. i didnt know if that was over thinking the problem or a good idea and kinda wanted to see what others thought. i just went dumpster diving in my own trash can to get the original GPU boxes back LoL. i've been cleaning out things before the movers come and didnt think about those boxes till after i'd thrown them out. -

i was planning to put it in that box with the original styrofoam and everything, do you think that everything inside will be ok though? -
ok so i'm not sure what section to ask or start this thread in, so i"ll put it here because i'm "planning" something. i a few weeks i will be moving to a new state. i'm taking my desktop in my car and i want to make sure nothing gets damaged while i'm driving the 880+ miles to get there. my car is lowered so the bumps are a bit rougher than my wife's car, but her car is going to be filled with clothes and other kids stuff while she follows me on the trip. i recently built a computer for a friend and shipped it to him. i thought everything inside the computer would be ok, but the graphics card ended up getting damaged and didnt work when it got to him. long story short, we've resolved that issue and i've learned my lesson about shipping/transporting a computer. is it safe if i just have my computer in my car trunk...or should i put something in to stabilize the graphics cards and the currently installed hyper 212 evo cooler? i was thinking of using some packing paper from the movers when they come to box up all our household goods, or i could use some newspaper and wad it up between the coolers and the top of the case and the PSU. is using paper safe or stable enough? i don't have any foam pieces laying around i could use...ive checked i don't think it'll conduct electricity or be so tough in the case that it could break something.

yea.....that keyboard looks like shit. i <3 my G710+ and will probably never upgrade unless they re-sell the G710+ exactly as is but with RGB lighting....which i don't expect to ever happen LoL.
