Its still a great chip if you overclock it, even today id choose 6300 over i3 in heartbeat, tho if youd go with i3 you could swap it for i5 or i7 in future, swapping 6300 for FX 8 core wouldnt be so beneficial.

You need a GPU, the 8320 has no iGPU. Unless you got a 760G board with graphics installed but not really recommended to run a 8 core FX CPU on 760G board.

Definitely get the 760k. But if you need an APU, (you probably don't) then get the A10-6800k.

gt something in a10 or a8 range but update your BIOS

@HectiKCookiE - Looking over your full system specs, you should have no problems playing most of the games you listed. I think what has happened here is you've simply had some back luck with the components you've received. Whether it's because the parts were simply defective, or the retailer gave you refurbished parts instead of new parts, I don't know (wouldn't be the first time this has happened). Regardless, the specifications of your system are not the problem and AMD is not the problem either. 
 
Not all games make use of crossfire or SLI (GTA V is known to be one of them), so you should only expect the performance of one 290x in those games. 
 
To those bashing on the 8320; Yes, it will bottleneck in *some* games, but in most, it'll work just fine. It's not a terrible CPU like some people seem to claim, but they aren't as good as an i5, so the OP shouldn't expect the same performance as an i5 in gaming. 

Seems like i will upgrade from AMD FX to Skylake, i would like to wait for Zen, but i cant trust the hype anymore, but i do hope Zen will kick sum ass and AMD will be back in business.

Anything higher than High seems to only add lens flare.

Its an old factory overcloked AMD CPU, dont expect wonders from it, its only good for production work if you cant afford i7.

An AMD 380 or 280X would be a better choice than the 960. 

Adobe products run just fine on AMD, so no issues there.
 
 
I think you are confusing the 390X with the 390.
 
the 390 is a 330 USD card, similar to 970. The 390X is a 450 USD card and is meant as a budget solution to the 980.

AMD does perfectly well in gaming. They Athlon CPUs can match an i3 in FPS up to a R9 380/GTX 960. I will not lie, a i3 will benefit more from a 290 or 390 then a Athlon 750k/860k. But both an i3 4330 or a Athlon 860k will pull 60FPS at 1080p in almost all games there is, bar 2 or 3 where they both get hammered.
Before touting misconceptions, learn some facts. Only FX sucks balls in 9/10 situations, well FX sucks balls even in that last 1/10. But just slightly less then an i3 or i5 does.
 
Steamroller (aka FM2+) has higher IPC then FX, sure its well below haswell, but not so far that it completely cripples it in gaming performance, the cores themselves are stronger then the Piledriver ones used in FX chips. So clock for clock, Steamroller is MUCH better then FX. Like WAY better.
 
Still, Phenom X6 > Athlon X4 860k/750k > FX whatever in IPC.
 
If you need facts, just check these reviews. yes the i3 will win with a few FPS, but considering the 860k (A10 7850k is the same CPU, so if you remove the 50 USD GPU inside the APU, then your left with a 860k) is 65 USD and a mobo with good OC capabilities is 45 USD (similar to a good B85 intel board actually). Well, you will save 70 USD over the i3 closest to it.
G3258 is a toy, dual core with only 2 threads cannot run all modern games, GTA V for example gets stutters and freezes, even with high overclocks, so quad core really is where it is at for buttersmooth operation in games made from 2011 and newer. Before that, then yes, Intel would have an advantage, but you would still get 60+ FPS with even a FX....
 
and here is some links you can read. Remember 7850k = 860k + a R7 250X. so CPU performance is the exact same as a normal 860k. 7870k is just a mildly OCd 860k with a iGPU.

below 290X, Athlon 860k or the Athlon 750k is a fantastic buy. So no need to change it.

R9 380 + Athlon 750k or 860k (if you want a mild update) will reach 60FPS + in most games at 1080p
So unless you own a 100-144Hz monitor, or plan to purchase one anytime soon, your current CPU, or a 860k will be all you need for a while longer.

No, cuz FX replaced Phenom as AMD high performance lineup back in day, Zen will also be FX i think.

260 should handle V on Normal with ease.

I dont use any form of AA, V Sync is off, every other setting is Seto to High or Very High as far theyre allowed, i dont use Ultra settings since they draw so much fps but dont improve visual quality, HD Shadows are off too, all slider settings are maxed aswell, Long Shadows and High Detail Streaming are on too, i get near 70 fps average with dips below 60 - 50 fps at times.

assuming its only for gaming, i suggest you buy an aftermarket cooler and overclock the shit out of your Fx-6200. and save your money to upgrade to intel i5 or i7 in 12-18 months, depending on your budget.

An APU should be fine for light gaming and normal PC tasks, just remember to get fast ram to go along with it to get the best performance.

Yeah, i was always eager when EA gona give some free Bost to free players to buy a fucking car slot, yeah had to buy a slots to own more cars even IGC ones, still with all the bad i have some great memories from playing it, just really shameful it became milking machine for little dumb kids instead of ultimate NFS game.
