http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/modular-gm-series/g750m/ It has problems booting aswell after "cold start" if not booted for about 2 hours it tries to boot spins fans for 1 second than drops out and retries untrill i remove 24 pin and resead it.

Yo waddup my dudes, Its almost wensday and my pc is showing me sinage from weekend. Its randomly shutting down, hard locking, blue screening and stuttering for 1 second. I found my baby boss problem (in my eyes) as seen at the +12 volt rail on my psu. Its an 750 watt on a i7 4930k with an gtx 770. Could this be my problem? or should i try something els before replacing the psu?

Its a test from a ramdisk, write is faster than read. On nas it reads /writes 3k+ MB/s

Hey, i just started running windows 8.1 pro as my main nas os with some vm`s in the background. I was wondering if using windows 8.1 pro as a os for long time 24/7 operation could do any damage to my seagate ironwolf drives or if i should turn settings off inside windows that are hurting the drives.

Pc`s at the city dump can do more than this one haha I know haha but gotta find a use for this poor bastard cuz i have a few hours to spend Just a "project" got a few hours to spend and this is where my eye fell on. Thanks for the hard drive idea imma make a clonezilla box from it to easy clone and backup drives. 2X sata 2X sata power its an 18,5 volt 3.5 amp powerbrick thats powering this badboy. Throwing out is bad gotta recycle it on metal i would get about 20 cents..

So i found an old system that i got gifted by a friend, its an HP Compaq CQ2100NL from 2010 and it has: 1 gb ram 1 core on 1.6 ghz 2 wifi antennas 250 gb hdd passive cooled cpu with 1 case fan and 4 usb poort with an vga onboard output This is the last and weakest pc that i got that i need a use for. I tought about an outside temperture meter but than the pc may die fast, also though about nas but i just got a new one and this only has a 100 mbps poort. Any suggestions?

No raid just plain drives in mb amd a6 something something quad core 3 ghz 8 gb ram nas 32 gb client seagate ironwolf 4 tb

So i got a problem that my read speeds are slower than my write speeds. Why is this and how can i fix this? I got this on any drive from the other system tests were done with an 4 gb ramdisk to not have disk bottlenack. <- reading - Downloading from \\nas\ ram disk to local m.2 drive <-- writing - Uploading from m.2 drive to \\nas\ ram disk

Hey guys scarce here, Im looking for an big storage soloution to backup all my projects including personal data and stuff + extern data from friends or family. At this moment it's about 9-10 TB but will be growing in the future, my question is what would be the best and cheapest solution? I was looking at external drives but prices are not cheaper than internal drives and are not practical for network use. I looked at internal storage solutions with raid cards but they get quite expensive if not purchased second hand. And i looked for network backupping but thats expenseive if u want to get fast speeds. I can get new drives from 3Tb - 8Tb for 0.023 cents a GB so about 1 tb = 23 Euro

Hello, So my apple cinema display 23 inch is giving me an error code "Short-Short-Long" People say its probably the power supply but i have tried 3 different once and they all didn't work. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and how has this bin resolved?

Hmm it says that the warranty ended 21 april 2015 but thats way before i got the drive or did someone already use my serial to get a drive repaired?

Hello and thanks for this answer Sadly it didn't recover or fix my drive though, both tools just crash and hang until they stop working. I got this drive this summer as a replacement for my old crappy drive that I used for storage. My other Seagate drives are running fine in raid 0 for the past 3 years not sure why this happened to this one. Could it get overused? It was hit hard almost every day with video editing. If u think I got a chance I would love to hit up the recovery service, and for sure if its coverd.

Hey there, So i got an seagate drive an ST1000NM0011 1 tb all the good stuff but it for some reason doesnt get detected i only see the drive letter, the drive spins up but gets really hot how can i recover the info from this disk? i do not mind paying.

South / North bridge overheating MS-7728 motherboard

The CPU doesn't heat up, i have taken the cooler off for better eye sight. The little chip under the first slot is overheating without shorting the power button pins. I tried difrent psu`s on this board and the one on the picture on a different board but they all work. -
Hello ya all. I got my MS-7728 motherboard with my second or third gen i7 but it doesnt boot. It does get extremely hot on the south or north bridge heatsink the one under the first pcie slot. What is this and how can this be fixed?

Hmm than the temps should be alright or atleast in range if its 2/3 -> 3/3 might the cooler be a bit broken all together?

With my I7 4820k it seems to be "normal" and when i dont overclock the 4930k it idels at 25-30 and under load 60-70

But i got it on auto at the moment when i do nothing the ghz drops and the voltage aswell if i lock the voltage should i lock the ghz aswell? checked 2 times even used difrent paste
