  1. It was intense, i didn't see it coming,(didn't read books) but WOW. I'm not too upset, i kind of enjoyed it, i just had a feeling someone was going to die, someone always dies in every season!
  2. I love this design, its perfect, direct fan cooling to what matters, no cages in the way, and honestly shows off exactly what you want to see. Motherboard, GPU, CPU, maybe memory and that's really it!
  3. So what are the other major CST times to watch for?
  4. 1. My submissions! 2. https://twitter.com/Mystikalrush/status/340954974160838656
  5. ALXAndy, I've had an 8150 system, I wasn't too impressed once piledriver came out. So after a litteral decade of AMD fan boy, i finally jumped ship to a team who knows what there doing. If this CPU is real, like I've said there just trying too hard, AMD is not going about competition correctly. Heat and power consumption should be decreasing per generation, im not sure what AMD is doing but its quite the opposite. This 5GHz CPU probably isn't going to make up for there losses.
  6. Poor AMD, there just being try hards. There doing it completely wrong. One would think they learned from piledriver that higher frequency isn't going to beat something like the 3570k running much slower. THAT TDP! :P
  7. Im probably one of the few that use Antec AIO CPU liquid cooler, and this thing is already 1yr+ old and probably more from its actual release date, so i was quite curious when these guys were going to release an update. Its a solid product and i really love it, Antec has been real nice with me and sending me bracket updates completely free, so i hope they can start pumping out new editions as much as Corsair does.
  8. I went form a 24 to 27" 1080p monitor, it was a bit noticable with that kind of resolusion being screched out, i almost had to get a little bit more distance between. It doesnt take long to get used to it though, right now i cant tell what so ever, and i setuped up with a much better display as my old one was typical LCD, this is a nice IPS LED display with amazing dynamic color boost technology inside, i just couldnt be happier.
  9. There really wont be a "normal" voltage, when it comes to overclocking its all a privledge how good of a chip you get. My 3570k is stable at 4.5GHz at v1.275, i can get it running at 4.6GHz but i need something like v1.320, but i just dont like that much voltage. Run a Prime 95 stress test if you havnted just to make sure your overclock is actually stable, for atleast 24hrs.
  10. Newegg has been advertising this "New Intel CPU on June 2nd" for a couple days now, im supprised people didnt know this. :P
  11. I have the rev 1.0 of this board and never ran into this issue with the 8150, besides the typical vdroop doing its thing. Sad to see quality parts, not so worth it for the red team. Now this board sits high in the closet all alone. :P
  12. Box is werid. This is after all the same 22nm, so simply a refresh like any other product, so overall minor upgrade from IB atleast. Expect less OC headroom and a bit more sensitive to higher voltages.
  13. Haswell is going to be very minor to ivy, plus its not going to overclock as well as ivy, let alone sandy. There's a trend going as intel progresses, these CPUs seem to not have as much overclock head room.
