  1. Yes I did. Without vmd I can and did install windows but I need my raid drives so it’s not a real solution
  2. Hey guys I have a z690 arous master from gigabyte. I used to have a 12900k and I ran raid everything worked fine. I just upgraded to the 13900k and I’m having a hard time booting into windows. I was getting BSOD unable to access boot drive. So I gave up and tried to reinstall windows but none of my drives show up I tried the RST VMD drivers from my motherboard support page and the direct link ones and they both don’t work. I know these drivers worked for my 12900k so what is the problem? I can install windows without vmd enabled but I won’t be able to use raid. Any idea what to do? Is anybody else experiencing this issue?
  3. I've spent the last week troubleshooting and I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this issue. This issue started happening after I upgraded my CPU, RAM, and motherboard. I will attach the error log in this post. Please let me know If there is anything I can do to resolve this issue. All of my PC temps are fine, everything seems to work really well except my NVMEs. Specs: Storage: 2x WD_BLACK 2TB SN770 running in raid 0, 1TB SSD CPU: i9-12900k GPU: 3090 Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-E RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5600 Stuff I've tried so far that didn't resolve the issue: -Installed drivers from Asus's website -Resintalled windows -Tried different NVMEs (old ADATA ones I had). I tried about 5 different physical NVMEs -Tried a different motherboard (Same model) -Tried to run 1 NVME at a time not in raid -Moved RAM slots -Updated BIOS -Ran default bios settings -Disabled LPM Workaround that worked: -Installing windows on my SSD not the NVMEs fixed the freezing issues but I would rather have windows on my NVMEs. There is no reason that the NVMEs shouldn't work. error.txt
  4. Hey guys my motherboard (ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO) only has 2 nvme slots and i would like to install a 3rd one. My question if i plug the pcie adapter into the 3rd pcie slot will it affect my gpu x16? on the manual it says if it plug something in the second slot it says it will make the first slot 8x not 16x but nothing is mentioned about the 3rd slot only that it shares bandwidth with some of the sata ports. NVME i want to get: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TY2TN64/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A23NVCSO4PYH3S&psc=1
  5. It’s not overclocked it’s boosting to 4.7ghz
  6. For some reason at 1440p my cpu is score is only 6500. It’s running at a constant 4.7 GHz and max 75c. Gsync is disabled. Is that a normal score for the cpu? I looked online and I saw people were getting 10k+. I’m also using an AIO. gpu is 1080ti if that matters
  7. Isn’t raid 0 limited by the smallest drive size? So I will only have a 2TB drive instead of 3 correct?
  8. Hey guys I have XPG SX8200 Pro 2 1TB NAND NVMe and I recently purchased the 2TB version and I was wondering can I combine them both into 1 storage on windows? And is it safe for the ssd? Like will it hurt the life of the ssds?
  9. I check there was nothing out of the ordinary
  10. around 2 years even if that's the case why is the gpu also heating up?

  12. Hey guys so over the last couple of days my pc temps have skyrocketed to the point where I can feel the heat coming off my pc. My gpu and cpu idle at 60 degrees but when i game 5 min in my cpu and gpu both reach 100 degrees. I opend the case and it wasn't too dusty and the fans were all running, i don't understand why this happened so any help would be awesome.
