Spud387 got a reaction from wolverine104 in This video is pain - Intel $5,000 Extreme Tech Upgrade
That desk is so weak because Taran tried reusing the old legs. The Bekant table top is supposed to use the Bekant legs which has a cross support for strength. No wonder it flexed so much by using 4 individual legs

Spud387 reacted to Froody129 in Go 4K? 1440p? or simply not worth upgrading
Main advantage of 1440p is that it is a lot easier to run than 4k, and still is a crisp resolution. Typically a high-end gamer would be looking at 4k60 or 1440p144. In your use case I would go with the 4k screen. Just avoid the crap TN ones like the plague

Spud387 got a reaction from Popple2000 in IPS or 1ms 144hz
I played around with the Dell 2412M & BenQ XL2420TE, I spent a good 6hrs calibrating the BenQ and got it so the colors were nearly identicle to my Dell 2209WA monitors. It is honestly a great monitor, but unless you are really into FPS games AND can run then at a high FPS, I don't see the benefit over an IPS. I personally chose the Dell with its slightly better color reproduction & better viewing angles.
Down the road I'll invest in a g-sync monitor

Spud387 got a reaction from airdeano in When would you install the H100i in your case?
Here's what I did:
Assembled my system with the stock cooler to ensure it would boot and there weren't any issues.
Then I removed the stock cooler and installed my H110. (After cleaning off the old thermal paste.)
