  1. Just had the issue reoccur today. Last week I bought a new UPS with higher load ratings and am powering my rig through it. No blue screens just all screens going black but the volume from overwatch still able to be heard so the computer is still running. Whats really weird is it crashed at the same exact point in the game. Not while I was playing but while I was unboxing loot. As the box hits the top you can hear a buzz coming from my output speakers and all the screens going black. Going through my windows event log I just got a Display driver nvlddmkm stopped working. The error after that is me forcing the shutdown of my computer. My graphics card drivers are up to date. Could this be an issue with windows 10 home 64 bit? EDIT: Just saw my SLI was disabled. Going to renable and run heaven benchmark
  2. Checked my cables and blew out my case. Next to no dust and everything was connected. I did have a blue screen a minute or two after I started to load programs on startup however. Computer restarted and I re logged in without issue. I attached the DMP file.
  3. I have a 24 pin extension cable for cable management purposes as well as four 6 pin extensions for the graphics cards. I will double check my connections tommorow and write back.
  4. The only pieces of equipment I havent replaced are the water cooler and the three monitors. I dont see how the monitors could be causing the issue and I havent noticed the cpu temps being a cause for concern. I can try to dust out my computer tommorow and see if that helps. Can also monitor the graphics card temps while gaming
  5. Whats weird is after I built the new rig I played fallout 4 and witcher 3 without issue on ultra also playing overwatch and hearthstone over three months. I played life is strange which requires next to nothing in graphics for less than a few hours and it happened. Just think its strange how I play one different game in the 3 months without issue and now the issue is showing up in other games. The screens go black randomly and only when im playing games.
  6. I had a Rosewill 1000W just on my 660 last year and was having this issue. A 750 should be able to handle two 970's. I caculated how much I would need for my current set up here: http://outervision.com/b/uxV6rF got 555W
  7. This started happening almost two years ago but since I built my new computer it had not happened for 3 months until last week. After playing Life is Strange(great game) I experienced the same event that had happened on my old rig playing WoW(Had a 660 at the time). While playing, all screens go black and I hear the windows disconnect sound coming out of my speakers. Nothing recovers, computer stays on with all lights, does not reconize new devices being plugged in or out and I cant get back into windows without forcing it off then turning it on(after turning it on the first time my left monitor shows a white bar accross it and I am forced to reboot for a sucessfull login the following time). When I get back in my default sound has changed and my resolution has changed as well. The only pieces of equipment I have not changed from my last build to now is the water cooler and my three 28" monitors. I had played overwatch on this computer since it launched back in May and never had this issue. I played life is strange and had the issue once and now I find overwatch is crashing almost every play session. I have attached the key events from my event manager since there was no blue screen log. What sticks out to me is a warning display driver nvlddmkm has stopped responding and has successfully recovered. The 6:18PM error occured while I was playing overwatch. The graphics cards are up to date. 8. So I just finished a 4 hour round with my gtx660 and finished the witcher 3. I ran it in medium because the 660 is an older card but my 970 would crash in medium anyway. 4 hours and some very graphic intensive cutscenes and NO CRASHES. Now its just a question of is my gtx970 faulty or is it the witcher 3 that is truely having issues with my card. Ive been in contact with CD Project Red the past few days and they have yet to say anything other than trying to get me to troubleshoot with different things.
  9. However I am still going to put in my gtx 660 later today and see what happens.
  10. Well I reached out the Cd Project Red and they said theres an issue with their game running on the gtx 970. So I have to wait for a fix if any
  11. Well the audio for the witcher 3 will play for a few seconds after the monitors go about but then it will just be buzzing. It could be because I switched from HDMI audio to aux audio on my MB
  12. That dident resolve it but its now at a different point. So I was almost done with the Witcher 3 and the monitors went out, everything stayed on, and all you heard coming out of the speakers were buzzing.
  13. Yea my system has 16GB so I have alot to spare im just worried that itll cuase my ram to go bad or something
  14. So I own two samsung EVO 840's one for my OS and one for games inside a H440(Yea no HDD's!). The first question is reguarding how much can be written to a SSD before it goes bad. Through samsung magician I saw that my OS 120gb ssd has already 2.5TB Written. my 250gb has had 1.3TB. My other question to those who use the rapid mode feature I know that you can get crazy read and write speeds to the drive you enable it on(RAM Caching). Has anyone had any issues with their ram or computer after enabling it? I couldn't find any concrete information about it.
