  1. As the title says, I'm unable to power on my PC when it's cold in the room... Last night I left balcony door open because i couldn't sleep. During the night temperature fell down and in the morning it was kind of chilly in the room... So when I tryed to power on my PC it starts for few seconds and than it just fails... I tryed with preventing CPU cooler fan from rotating but it didn't work... Is there maybe any option in BIOS which blocks PC from booting on low temperatures (I'm talking about 15°C which isn't that COLD). As I googled this problem, I found that some of them have same CPU, but there was no solution... I'll provide sys specs below. So after I turned heating on in the room I was able to boot up... Sys specs: CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz (idk if it's black edition, some software's say it is, some don't) CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO GPU: Gigabyte GTX 650 2GB VRAM MoBo: ASRock N68-VS3 FX M-ATX Power Supply: Spire SP-ATX-450WTB-PFC-2 (450W) HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 , 1TB
  2. So I have this old-ish PC with just nothing more than ok performance... But I'm always having some issues, and they're becoming more frequent... For example my Power Supply's fan started to make noise, like he's scretching edges while fan is rotating... It's awfully annoying but I'm afraid of opening the box and smuggling around in it... Second was when I bought Hyper 212 EVO; when I was about to put the fan on the radiator and I realized it overlaps RAM module... It actually sits on RAM.. I somehow managed it to work but I don't know how bad can be flexing RAM module on side? I have Micro ATX (or is it Mini??) motherboard and everything is so crowdy on it... It bugs me too.. I was thinking to actually just upgrade my motherboard first??? Just to get cooler of the RAM module. Also my HDD seems very slow, test show he's OK but when I open task manager he's at 90%+ And lastly, my specs aren't so new so...Help me how to proceed with upgrades? My specs are : CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz (idk if it's black edition, some software's say it is, some don't) CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO GPU: Gigabyte GTX 650 2GB VRAM MoBo: ASRock N68-VS3 FX M-ATX Power Supply: Spire SP-ATX-450WTB-PFC-2 (450W) HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 , 1TB
  3. Can anyone help me identify the problem?
  4. My PC freezes every time I try to install something or write/read something big. My HDD is TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB. I did CrystalDiskMark benchmark but I don't really understand the result, is it ok or not My other specifications are: ASRock N68-VS3 FX AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4GHz CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO Gigabyte - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2GB Spire SP-ATX-450WTB-PFC-2 450W
  5. Seems like it was MoBo issue because I recently had to reset jumpers (when i overclocked CPU). It hasn't happened in a while now...
  6. I'm having a little problem while booting. It doesn't happen every time but it happens often and it bugs me a lot. When I press power button, PC starts running but the output display doesn't turn on, as it isn't even connected to it. So I have to push reset button and I don't like to push it a lot. I took a risk and I updated BIOS, but it didn't help (Maybe because latest BIOS is from 2012 for this MoBo). Is there maybe some option in the BIOS menu or anything to help me resolve the issue? Thank you so much for your answer. My PC specs are : ASRock N68-VS3 FX AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4GHz CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2GB Spire SP-ATX-450WTB-PFC-2 TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB (SORRY, NOW I REALISED I'M AT WRONG CATEGORY - can someone move this topic to Troubleshooting?)
