I would say there's a short somewhere on your keyboard, a specific short.
The numbers look random but it keeps skipping 3 and 0. Find out what they have in common and you might find your problem because they don't seem effected by this issue.

    "45694569456945694569456945694569456945694569456945694569456945694569456789,123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123123"

This is a snippet from one of the keyboard screams the other day.

    99% defective keyboard.

Seems like, but can't figure out why it's not happening all the time, just randomly and with no indication what triggered it. Would you have an idea what's actually happening?

Is it looking clean, maybe got loads of hair and other dirt under the keycaps?

After your comment I went and cleaned it thoroughly. Even opened inside to check if there's something shorting the pcb but couldn't find anything. Cleaned keycaps with lukewarm water and dish soap, dried overnight.

The issue happened again today. Weird thing is it did the numbers again, and in a row. "12456789124567891245678912456789124567891245678912 ...". Really can't put a finger on what's happening.

  3. I've recently bought refurbished Corsair K65 LUX RGB and out of nowhere it rarely and randomly starts typing on it's own. It happened only 3 times so far out of the blue. I'm not sure what triggers it but it just spits bunch of key presses like some of the keys are being held down. At first I thought it was some kind of malware and I scanned my PC with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender and haven't found a single issue. I've tried standard recommendations from Google like uninstalling iCUE software, uninstalling all keyboard devices in Device Manager, scanning for malware, disabled NUM LOCK with different keyboard, force flashed fresh firmware.
As it doesn't happen often I can't find what's causing this, is it a defect keyboard? If it is, how is it not doing it all the time?

  4. So this Corsair K65 LUX RGB that I have has weird Alt Gr switch. Sometimes it's not registering when I hold it and depends on which side of the switch i put more pressure it either registers or doesn't. Top part doesn't register while I put more pressure on bottom part it does. I'm guessing that's a broken switch and there's nothing I can do about it.

And then the spooky part, so out of blue it started typing "1234567890, 1234567890, 1234567890, ...". At first I thought it was some malware or something but I don't click shady links nor visit unsafe sites, yet I still did a quick and full scan with Malwarebytes and then Windows Defender just in case. 0 issues found. Now at the evening in the middle of the YouTube video it started pressing numbers again. It keept pressing numbers only. Is something shorted on the PCB or what could be the cause of this?

  5. I'm forced to use LTE for a few weeks until I'm back to regular cable, but phone (OnePlus 5T) is giving me headaches when playing PUBG whilst thetering connection from the phone. Ping is decent, down speed is pretty good considering it's LTE (~70Mbps) and upload is solid. Only problem is it's that phone randomly restarts the connection. It doesn't completely restart the phone, it just 'signs out' and reprompts me PIN.  I've tried booting phone in safe mode, that didn't help. Tried some methods from Google like replacing that USB network driver with Microsoft's driver, and that also didn't help. I'm kind of desperate at this point.

EDIT: Trying PdaNet but latency is significantly worse and getting only 1/3 of the speed.

  6. Is there a way I could use Windows 10 cellular network without (Huawei) Mobile Partner? If I uninstall the app, Cellular option disappears from Windows 10 settings.
The app seems to cause me a lot of issues, BSOD's and other weird crashes that didn't happen before installing it. I have Huawei E3276 LTE stick and I'm stuck with it for a few weeks until I get back to proper copper.

Would staying on Intel and doing what you said, be worth it for the money and in the long run? Wouldn't switching to AMD be more beneficial in the future?

This would be just a cheaper option if you're itching for an upgrade right now. What I'd do is definitely wait for July and Ryzen 3rd gen to see what they bring before making major decisions. There's also some leaks of GTX 1180 poping on hp's site, so that might be a thing in the meanwhile aswell.

Get the 1080ti is probably what I would do. At 1440p you will still be gpu bottlenecked so no worries about the cpu.

I mean eventually after the GPU, time will close for a CPU aswell, so there's gonna be a lot of options then.

  9. As holiday season is closing in, I'm looking for your thoughts about upgrading my current setup.

    Current specifications are following:

    CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k @ 4.6GHz 1.28V - Delidded

In current state of mind, most likely option is to just slap a 1080Ti and call it a day.

    What would you do?

Buy a used 1080ti for like $500 soon ish if you want more GPU performnace

That was one of the very likely scenarios

Maybe also upgrade to 32GB of ram as some games are demanding more than 16gb of ram at high res+framerates (but don't make this a priority).

Never so far got to max out 16GB :'D

I was wondering how should I continue with this build, what are your suggestions? Is whole platform change neccessary (Intel 9th gen + Mobo + RAM). Should I just get an GTX 1080Ti or RTX 2080 (whatever the benchmarks closest one is) expecting 4770k can keep up with it? Can the PSU even hold up with an 1080Ti for example?

Things that I'm mostly sure I'll do eventually with the build:

    - Change that 1080p panel with simmilar, same sized Dell 1440p 60Hz panel

Feel free to share your thoughts!

Using the OBS NDI Plugin that'd be possible.

EposVox has a great tutorial on it, just be prepared to dial in the exact settings for multiple hours and even after the first stream feel the need to adjust settings.

I saw that plugin. It supposedly has some audio delay issues and data-rate issues so I'll probably be getting a capture card.

Getting a 2nd PC would be really impractical for me, since I'm in a student dorm for the most of the year, or I'm travelling (so new laptop would do me better justice).

  13. I own a community with 73k people and I was thinking of getting back to streaming. I've been streaming mostly PUBG and PC always had issues with lag and choppiness, no matter what encoder I used, platform nor bitrate. I tried with all encoders and different bitrates, but nothing helped. Reinstalling OBS and clearing all setting files also had no effect. (Yes, I've googled).

So doing some puzzles in my head, I've came to a conclusion that I might somehow combine getting a new laptop and using it as an video encoding device. My laptop is long overdue for a replacement (A8-4500M APU).

Would a laptop with an i7-8750H do a decent job when it comes to X264 encoding? How I would go about doing this whole plan?

This actually happened to me with my RX 580 8GB and Kogan 144hz monitor. I suspected it was a driver issue with the GPU because when I uninstalled the drivers it was fine. I still have this problem but mine seems a bit more bearable than yours as it only happens for the first 20-30 seconds. It didn't bother me that much though so I didn't return the graphics card.

Yeah this one is not driver related nor even PC, as same thing happens when I connect the monitor to my laptop via HDMI cable.

  15. For last few days my monitor (LG 22EA63) has been behaving weirdly. It just keeps turning off and on again every time after boot. After ~20mins it stops and behaves normally. I've been reading it might be something with power capacitors that can't hold charge until they warm up.

It's a secondary screen so I can live with it for now, but if there's some fix besides getting a new one, I'd be open to ideas.

    I've tried:

+Replugging monitor in another power outlet

+Restoring factory defaults in settings on the monitor

    +DDU & clean driver install

+Adding DVI-D->HDMI adapter to eliminate bad HDMI port going bad on GPU

+Using laptop as a HDMI output. So it's definitely not PC's fault.

  16. Besides my S2417DG I have secondary LG 22EA63 screen, which is giving me some headaches now.

Last night when I turned off my PC and went to bed I saw some flashing later on. Monitor was "panicking" and switching between "LOOKING FOR SIGNAL" to "GOING IN STANDBY MODE SHORTLY". I didn't think anything major was going on so I just completely flipped the power switch on the power outlet. In the morning monitor started doing same when turned on. It'd just randomly put out image and then turn off, in cycle.

    I've tried:

+Replugging monitor in another power outlet

+Restoring factory defaults in settings on the monitor

    +DDU & clean driver install

+Adding DVI-D->HDMI adapter to eliminate bad HDMI port going bad on GPU

Anyone has any idea what might be wrong?
