    Wait... it gets worse
The 28th of September is just for South Korea, the date for the US re-release is not until the 21st of OCTOBER
No word yet on the actual UK date, but I'm praying it's much closer to the South Korean date than it is the American date...

Re:Zero just aired its last episode of the season today, it's 25 episodes and really... really good.
Sousei no Onmyouji (Twin Star Exorcist) is mid way through, it's going to have 50 episodes, it's at 23 right now, also very good.
And if you haven't watched it already I would 100% suggest watching Magi (both normal seasons and the Sinbad flashback season)
And also watch Nanatsu No Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins).

They are all action based and pretty modern (the first 2 are from last season and continued into this season) and they are similar to the ones you said you already watched/liked.

Samsung released the IMEI checker tool already.
Just need to go to this site: http://www.samsung.com/us/note7recall/
Find the IMEI number in your settings (says how to on the site) annnddd done.

Or even easier, use the Samsung+ app and it'll tell you right on there.

I already went into this in detail on another thread, but burn in isn't an issue to worry about on modern OLED panels for phones, under normal use before burn in occurs you're likely to have purchased a new phone already, especially if you follow the 2 year cycle which I do.

I think it's LG Displays, and JDI that do the iPhone displays, Samsung do the iPad displays only.

I agree iOS is dull at stock and very... very limiting. But a jailbroken iOS device in my opinion is just as good as an android device, the jailbreak community make some amazing things, it's just a shame that it takes to long for jailbreaks to be released now a days, and on top of that it takes a while for some devs to upgrade their tweaks to support the latest version of iOS. If Apple openly supported jailbreaking (instead of actively patching it) then I think iOS would be the perfect mobile OS for me.

    Define innovation:
a new idea, device, or method the act or process of introducing new ideas, devices, or methods
Making a display more accurate using the same methods and technologies we have had before is not innovative.
This is really impressive and good, but it's not innovative.

Ehh, no? I don't see how you could read this article (and by "this article" I mean the original article over at DisplayMate) and say that it is perfect. It's the best mobile LCD they have tested, but it is not by any means perfect. There are still a lot of areas where it can improve (the Galaxy S/Note 7 still beats it in a lot of areas).

But just to be clear, it is a really good display. Really, really good. Calling it innovative or perfect is objectively wrong though.

this is an editorial piece. at best their claims are speculations about the main idea of the piece. their sources are incredibly anonymous. this is not news, its gossip.

Lol what? The actual release date was 2 days earlier than the Note 5, in some countries it was actually 2 weeks later than the release date of the Note 5; but either way I don't see how that, or the announcement date matters in terms of 'rushing' the device, especially if we're talking a time frame as little as 2-10 days...

Whoever wrote and titled this piece should find a new profession, I actually took the time to read the whole article and not once is there a strong correlation between 'ineffective management' or 'a desire to beat apple' and the battery issue. Just a lot of far-fetched speculation, and unnamed sources.
Yes it's a fact that deadlines are tight, just like they would have been with the s7 edge, or the iPhone 6, or pretty much any other major launch...

Heck in the post they even say:
Making it seem like things were going to schedule...

And I do love how they quote their own analyst in the only sourced reference that suggests they were rushing to beat apple lool.

This article reminds me of the ones anyone can write on LinkedIn... Not exactly what I would consider 'News'

    Englishman here.
    We love our beer.
We have it in pints (about 570ml).
In a pub "down South" (near London) you'd expect to pay £3-6 a pint.
Up North it's about half that.
In shops we have bottles or cans of varying sizes which are less expensive.

Sorry for the extremely late reply: no, I haven't heard hissing... and I ran a full 3DMark benchmark to make sure.  Seems to be one of those "a small number of..." issues where it's significant, but far from guaranteed to happen.

No issues here, had mine for going on 7 months. In store it's probably more having the screen on auto brightness leading to the 'brightness boost' always being on max due to the harsh lighting, a sure way to kill almost any screen.

    @o0Martin @Glenwing @LordKage @theanimun
I got the DL-DVI to HDMI cable from above today. As thought, it doesn't work from HDMI to DL-DVI, in fact, it makes my PC freeze if I try, though it does show up as DL-DLV in the display panel oddly.
It does work the other way, I hooked up my 2560x1080 ultrawide to my 1080's DVI port, it's detected as HDMI. Still want to kill ASUS for making a top tier GPU and removing a displayport because apparently people that spend 700$ on a gpu can't afford an adapter, and the VIVE blah blah, but hey nice it works for this in the very least.

What I find most helpful is mods replying or mods asking questions. When Ryan Vickers asked about chaining UPSs I learned a lot from all the other mods replying. I think the best is GlenWig in displays for helping me and others. He always has the exact measurements and data rates for connector types.

I would 100% +1 this. Glenwing is extremely helpful.
Displays has always been a section FULL of misinformation and myths, and full of people spreading misinformation thinking they're correct. Glenwing's sticky faq threads alone are super helpful for people who fall for the misinformation, but on top of that his replies are always super helpful and detailed. I was a 'Trusted Adviser' in displays way back when that used to be a thing, but still my replies were never as well written as his were (even though it was the same information).

It could actually catch fire/explode even when not charging, people just assumed it was due to fast charging (or charging using the micro usb adapter) based on early reports, but Samsung themselves came out and said it could happen off charging too, that's why they issued the update 5 days ago to limit the battery to 60% only.
And Samsung were working with the government on this, they wanted it to happen, so I wouldn't say it's an over step, even if it is unnecessary.

Thankfully Samsung have said the Note 7 will be back on sale, fully fixed, by the 21st at the latest, I think it's 19th in the UK, which is when I'll pick mine up

I'm not sure if this is referring to me or not (because the person you quoted was quoting me), but all I was saying is IF you're training to gain muscle mass then you can gain muscle mass. If you're training for a triathlon then of course your optimal training wont bulk you up (It isn't meant to).
But I think we both agree that different people train for different needs, and benefit from that training differently.
