  1. I disconnected my hard drive and now this happens. Windows is installed on my ssd so why is this happening?
  2. When I turn my pc on it gets stuck on the loading screen you see before the login screen for windows. It says something like 'performing automatic repair' then now says 'scanning and repairing drive (D:): (percent) complete'. But it has been sitting there for around 4 hours at 58%. My pc has been taking longer and longer to start up lately and has also been having some other issues with programs crashing that shouldn't like steam. I might try disconnecting my hard drive and just try and run on my ssd if that will do anything. thanks
  3. What if the problem started after I updated my motherboard drivers?
  4. I've looked around for a bit on how to do this but I am not sure how. I'm a noob and don't want to mess any more things up. On MSI live update I can see my history of what was downloaded but there is no revert option.
  5. I think I fixed it. Thanks for the info.
  6. When I am in a game like Counter Strike GO, I get 300 fps, but every few seconds my frames drop to like 10. And it is not just the game that stutters, it is my whole computer, so like youtube videos stutter with it. I just updated my MSI drivers and didn't have the problem before that. It also now takes longer to start my computer now. I didn't have this problem before and it happens even when I am running a basic game like terraria. Thank you if I need to add anything else please ask. 7. This issue is solved. Worked by doing the thing where I turn the PSU on and off many times.
  8. That's taking out the little battery on the motherboard right? Will that have any other effect on the computer other than possibly fixing the problem?
  9. But its not posting, how would it run a diagnostic? Ive had the problem before but it went away in around 5 minutes of fiddling. now ive tried to fix it for around an hour.
  10. There may be a short. I didnt have my door on my tower and the people cleaning my house thought it was a good idea to put my console controllers inside my tower. But it had turned on after they had done that so idk.
  11. You mean like the cables inside the tower right? Sorry lol just trying to be sure.
  12. No beeps Not sure about codes (sorry not great at tech) and nothing boots on the monitors so no post i think
  13. My computer turns on with fans, leds, and stuff, then turns off after about three seconds. Nothing displays on my monitors. I have tried un-plugging everything from usb and changing where the pc is plugged into but no result. I've tried the motherboard power button also. 14. I am very inexperienced with stuff with internet. I have very bad internet speeds and was hoping to improve my speeds by maybe wiring an Ethernet cable from my router to my computer. I have an Asus RT‑AC68R. I have AT&T Uverse (ik its bad but I can't change it) I don't know what kind of cable I need and if it is even worth it. I have 18mbps download if I'm lucky and ~3 upload But during around 7:30-11 I am at around 11-13 mbps download and 1-3 upload. I'm not really interested in doing it in wall, just maybe hiding it in the hall corners or running it through the attic The internet also fluctuates and I don't have the best connection. Thats why I want to maybe get ethernet.
  15. I have the K70 w/ reds and I love it. It feels very nice for my taste. The wrist rest also is comfortable.
