  1. I think you're right. I turned down the fans to see when the CPU would start throttling; right around 100C on the core temps is where it hit the limit.
  2. I would be curious to see them, if you don't mind. Thanks for helping, by the way
  3. I suppose that's true. Haswell Refresh is supposed to throttle around 72 C, right?
  4. I've been using the core temps, but they seem to jump around very sporadically. My fans end up revving up and down a lot; that's why I was wondering if using the more stable CPU temp was okay
  5. My board is an Asus Z97-Deluxe. I just worry because the CPU temp reads like 50 or so under heavy load, but the cores can jump to 76 and such.
  6. To adjust radiator fans based on CPU temperature, is it better to use a MAX of all of the core temps or just use the one labelled "CPU"?
  7. Thanks for your reply. In your experience, has it been easy to use? Also, how accurate is it?
  8. Do you guys have a suggestion for a good colorimeter? I've seen some folks recommend the Spyder5Pro and the X-Rite Colormunki Display
  9. I recently starting building a PC that kinda follows the Scrapyard Wars mentality: best performance per dollar and keeping it cheap. It doesn't currently have a graphics card, so this would round it off perfectly
  10. This would be great for the home theater setup my dad and I have been talking about! I like how it allows using a projector without setting it way back. Fewer instances of people blocking the beam that way
  11. Everyone should have an SSD in their system for the benefits of greater speed and reduced noise. Can't wait for these things to be more affordable!
  12. I've been really wanting to get into game streaming lately, but OBS is driving me mad! Having XSplit to use would be fantastic!
