  1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148740 VS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231623 I know as far as ram goes the improvements are not usually even noticable BUT, what ram would you choose if you had to pick one or the other excluding price bias.
  2. Parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Vy7mHx Price is not really an issue i just want to know what the best motherboards are that have good overclocking features, supports sli, and is really high end with no useless features. The motherboard i was considering was the Maximus Hero Vii.
  3. Well i mean if i get 2 video cards i dont think it would be over kill which is always a possibility in the future
  4. Computer parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Vy7mHx Budget: $2200 or less I want a great gaming PC that can run most(all preferably) 4k games at highest settings with a reasonable price. I dont want to spend 500$ more on a part for a few FPS increase. I want the best bang for my buck in terms of performance/cost but if it really is a significant increase ill consider getting it over what i have picked already. My main concerns are 1. Should i bother with a 6 core processor or is a 4970k with some overclocking good enough? 2. Should i get higher speed ram or is 1866 good enough (Alot of people rave about G.skill or corsair memory buti did alot of nit picking and the ballistix tactical had really good timings and cas at 1866) 3. I might be waiting for the new Gtx 980 Ti to come out before i consider building this rig but would one of those suffice or will i need 2(if i absolutely have to i will drop the extra cash for it). 4. I want a really high end mother board that doesnt have a ton of extra useless features that drive up the price(things that are not that technically inclined or the average person wouldnt see use of them). 5. Also is water cooling highly recommended?
  5. Well tbh i have no real experience with mid to high tier gaming mother boards. The only desktop i had that was not ancient is my current dell xps 8500.
  6. Does anyone think the asrock z97 extreme 6 is a decent mother board? or are there ones that outclass it?
  7. You kept the graphics card the same but upgraded the processor. I thought after i7 it kind of doesnt matter that much.
  8. Ive gotten so many different mother board recommendations
  9. is it not worth upgrading the graphics card though?
  10. I put together a gaming computer using pc part picker was wondering if there is any way majorly improve for only 200 or 300 dollars more max. here is the link http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cDGDNG
  11. I made a thread about my first gaming computer but i am just curious to see what other people would choose if they only had 1500 dollar budget not including processor or hard drive price.
  12. Well i already have a hard drive and i kind of want a 256GB solid state. Also why change the Memory? I also have no clue what a liquid cpu cooler is or how to install it.
