  1. I've just started at uni in the UK, and the wifi at the accomodation I'm staying at is 5mbits default, with upgrades all the way up to 50mbits for £200 a year. You get given three codes when you move in, for three different devices, and if you get the upgrade then it wipes those codes and they give you three new ones. I've had the idea to find someone with the upgrade who has a code they don't plan on using, and pay them to use it login with to get the faster internet speeds, saving us both some money. Seeing as all lessons are online this year anyway, and the government is still charging us £20,000 a year for an obviously inferior experience, I don't feel too bad doing this sneaky plan. The issue I'm encountering is I can't figure out how to get the wifi to "forget" my computer. I'm assuming it's based on something like a MAC address or an IP address or something, so I was just wondering if anyone here knew how these student wifi systems worked? It basically comes up with a webpage the first time I connected, I put in the code, and now it doesn't come up again, and I'm just trying to find a way of making it forget who I am so it prompts me for the code again. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  2. Here's what CPU-Z says. Seems about right, so it might just be Speccy displaying the wrong number. I did enable XMP, yes, and it said in the BIOS that it was around 2750mhz. Maybe everythings fine after all ?
  3. I bought a prebuilt pc from CyberpowerPC, and chose 8gb of DDR4 2400mhz RAM, along with a Ryzen 5 2400G. This takes 2gb of ram to use as gpu memory, leaving me with 6gb, which I'm aware is far from ideal, and I'm planning on getting an extra 8gb stick. I was just checking Speccy and I noticed my ram was running at 299.8mhz, which is obviously very low. Any ideas as to why this could be? Image attached
  4. This looks brilliant, would really love to have one ;-)
  5. I've installed Steam on the SSD, and I'm trying to add a new Steam library folder (the one with all my old games in). When I select it, it says "New Steam Library folder must be empty". I've also tried creating a new folder, adding it then copying the games over, If I do that it just doesn't pick up the games... What do I do?
