Currently regretting a bit my choice to go wireless with mouse. Though I'm pretty sure its only this piece which is having severe connection issues. I haven't experienced it this bad in a while and I have had daily driver wireless in past + laptop mouse is wireless. Have to take this one back and hope its just this particular piece. If the next one has same issues, I will go wired again.

One word: Logitech. Logitech wireless is basically the same as wired and has no connection issues. The G305 is only like $40.

    1. I have very specific set of features I want.
    2. I don't want to buy anything I haven't used or tried first when it comes to mice.
    3. From Logitech, G603 and G703 were in price range, but went with Rival 3 Wireless instead.

I did do extended search for this.

The G703 is great if you change your mind. I've been using the G Pro Wireless for a while now and haven't had any connection issues.

So these were the ones I got to try and liked:

    Quote

    M705

    Kone Pure

    Rival 3

    G703

    Sensei Ten

    Pulsefire Surge

    Pulsefire Rapid

    Pulsefire Core

    Rival 700

    ZA12

Some are out of the budget for this one (€50 for wired, €80 for wireless). That Pulsefire Core was surprisingly nice feel being just €35.

The G703 is definitely the best one of these IMO. Solid shape, good weight and top tier wireless. (Also can be charged and used via USB) The ZA12 would be the second best, but probably not an amazing choice for regular use since it has a really loud 16 step wheel and no software for macros/dpi adjustments. I'm not very familiar with the rest, but steelseries is solid in general (can't comment on their wireless though since I haven't personally used it)

There are used G Pro Wireless which would be in price range. But as I can't fiddle with it before buying (like going to someones house and not buying sounds really bad idea), I'm not keen on spending €80. Will see, I have 100 days to return and get full money-back, but kinda hoping this is just one-off and not type issue.

My previous mice include Roccat Kone original, Kova[+], SteelSeries Rival 300 and Logitech G300 (this one is too small). Of those Kone was the best, but currently out of my budget vs use.

The G703 (Hero) uses the exact same tech as the G Pro Wireless, so if you like the shape/features I'd say go for it.

^Good to know. I was trying to look at reviews, but those weren't helpful. And the only other Logitech mouse on display was https://www.logitechg.com/en-ph/products/gaming-mice/pro-hero.910-005442.html

    Which I didn't like.

Rocketjumpninja has good reviews in general, but yeah, the best way to know if you like a mouse is to try it.

As @PCGuy_5960 said, Logitech is great for wireless.

Personally I've got a G903 but the G703 should also be awesome.

The sensor on both are pretty amazing sensors so wired vs wireless will feel identical.
