YoFavRussian got a reaction from Bagerian in Is turning off my power supply switch bad for my pc?
The switch on your PSU breaks the incoming AC, so actually it's just like unplugging from the wall. DON'T do it when the PC is still on, shut it down, then flip the switch, that won't hurt anything.

I've never heard of this personally, I'm sure its possibly, but not sure where you'd find that.

Or you could be a pro and setup SSH services XD
I sometimes use SSH services just for launching the servers.
But I manage them using FTP and Visual Studio.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from rain in july in upgrade path for AMD FX-4300
If you really want one any of the 8000 series ones should be okay for you, but like I said, first gen Ryzen would probably even be a massive upgrade for you.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from TheGlenlivet in What to expect?
It could I remember my second gen i5 laptop with integrated actually ran GMOD alright, so I bet that laptop wouldn't have a big issue with GMOD.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from Ben17 in CPU Constantly Overheating
Assuming it's an AIO since it's manufactured by IBP, makes a very loud buzzing noise does sound like the pump is buzzing, some pumps are kinda noisy and do buzz, but looking at what you say, could be a pump going out.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from Bombastinator in Gigabit but its not Gigabit
He gives the router model in the OP, here is the model technicolor-cgm4141 and after looking into it, that router does support 1G on the two LAN ports that is has.
Could be a setting somewhere on the device that has it set to 100Mb/s like you mentioned.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from McGangsta in How to i find out how many pins for RAM
Yeah, 200-pin SODIMM is DDR2, 204-pin SODIMM is DDR3, and 260-pin SODIMM is DDR4. The other one's are standard DIMMs, but yeah for DDR3 for a laptop you need 204-pin

YoFavRussian got a reaction from N05HIT in Is there a sweet spot in smartphone price range?
I can see that side of it, but I'm more likely to take my camera with me if I'm going somewhere that I will probably be taking pictures, but I get what your saying about not lugging it around, or take into account batteries for the camera as well.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from McGangsta in How to i find out how many pins for RAM
You need 204-pin, the only other filter option that I see is 240, but that's DDR4L RAM anyway. I only see a 204 pin option for DDR3L SODIMM. However, your sticks do appear to run at 1.35V so I would keep an eye out for that.

That's good that you were able to get it resolved, I've never lost a mobile device personally, but I do need to set up a remote wipe utility as a precaution.

I don't know why, these people aren't using steam guard though. Put that in my recommendations for them though.

YoFavRussian reacted to spartaman64 in Is there literally ANY gaming monitor in the 500$ price range that is NOT TN and has decent response times? (~4ms/1ms)
its pretty standard for a LCD monitor and i dont understand contrast ratios anymore. companies advertise that their contrast ratio is 99999999999999999:1 and you get it and its not really any better than the 1000:1 monitor i dont understand how they get away with that. so i came to understand that the contrast ratio number is meaningless and i look up reviews from reputable sites and if they say the contrast is good then ill take it

Well this is a problem more or less with a person finding fault in anything. See we can fix almost any computer issue but we are not able to solve problems that people have with themselves.
Finding fault is generally one of the easiest laziest things most human beings are able to do which is why it's so common in several industries. The amount of people who are able to weigh pros and cons are very rare few and far between but tend to make decisions quite better than the latter.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from N05HIT in Is there a sweet spot in smartphone price range?
I agree, but this phone replaced my original OnePlus One anyhow, I hang on to my phones for a long time. Especially if they're flagship because that just means they'll last that much longer.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from N05HIT in Is there a sweet spot in smartphone price range?
I bought the OnePlus6T used for pretty cheap, $350. It's been a really good phone so far.

YoFavRussian reacted to yaop117 in Low power GPU upgrade
I would guess that it will be, since it's probably trying to compete in the same market as the 1650.
I don't think their performance will be all that different from each other either. but i guess we will see.

YoFavRussian got a reaction from Yasin40 in G430 died, please help me pick new headphones
Always used a pair of cloud II headphones, were very comfortable and sounded good. The best part was they required no extra vendor software to use the USB soundcard.
