  1. Well one of the users did state this (please do not harrass or go argue with this person please), which confused me as many other users stated otherwise (yes below is a screenshot, not an actual text)
  2. 1. 500 dollars as stated in the OP 2.1080p 3. The rest of my specs should listed in the OP
  3. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LhTFBc Will getting a new high end gpu for this build cause any issues esp. bottlenecks (I meant the ones that give you a worst/noticeable performance not the "minor ones). On one of my prevous threads, it's been suggested that I get a new GPU to enhance my build and its performance (in games like arma 3, tarkov, and starfield) while some others say that upgrading only that will cause a bad bottleneck (not just a minor one) with the 5800x cpu. Budget is under 500 dollars or less if I'm able to obtain it on cyber monday (not in too much of a rush right now)
  4. Wait is the popup that infrequenty shows up the only thing that was implemented? If so, this doesn't really change anything
  5. Thats what i keep hearing but prob would just focus on my gpu for now but will focus on getting that in the future
  6. Current PC https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LhTFBc The cpu upgrade is for mainly gaming. However its possible that any future CPU upgrade has little benefits with maybe an exception to the 5800x3d. Just want a cpu that performs good for the games below and good price perf ratio Games that I want to perform better (performance with old cpu is good but I feel like I can push more better perf out of it with a better cpu) -Tarkov (streets and lighthouse are known to tank fps) -Starfield -Arma 3
  7. forgot to update this thread, it did it again a couple of weeks ago (after not doing it for many months). I just disabled hardware acceleration on all my applications and see if that fixed it. So will just have to wait and see Also did a couple of stress tests that tested the cpu, ram, and GPU (and also the PSU) and nothing out of the ordinary
  8. Ok so just run stress test at the gl msi-01 setting as shown in the screenshot? It also has a bunch of furmark stress test options too like furmark-donut or furmark msi
  9. I was planning to run it at stress test and not benchmark but I guess either one works right? benchmark probably going to need to run a couple of times though
  10. I'm using MSI Kombustor to stress my test my GPU for troubleshooting purposes however I see many types of stress test options that the software has like msi-01, furmark, phong donut etc. At this point I'm wondering which option is the best option since there is so many. Also do you guys turn artifact scanner off or on?
  11. I heard good things about kombustor. Might give it a shot later. Also what does artifact scanning do? Is it necessary for my situation? Also should I run 1080p, or should I try for the more intense resolutions? Or I could just run each test after the other passes
  12. sounds good. Will run each option at couple of times. If that goes well, will probably rule out that it is a gpu issue.
  13. unfortunately the stress test option is paid only...Will the game option work just fine even though the test are shorter?
  14. I have been getting some occasional freezing with audio still playing and need to rule out the GPU. Should I go extreme with everything or just go with the default presets? Edit: Crud forgot GPU SPECs. It is an amd rx 5700xt
  15. This forum right now and my reaction:

  17. I mean it crashed in firefox once after 2 months with hardware acceleration off. It even crashed on a fresh install, old GPU drivers or just using the windows one. I've also ran memtest already (just with 2 pieces of ram) and no errors. I don't think removing ram would change anything tbh if 2 pieces of ram have no errors. However, will see if it occurs again edit: updated to include ram
