This thread has been an exceptionally poor first impression of the community that exists here and the tone of conversation between users.
 
 

New benchmarks for the upcoming macbook pro 13 inch model has appeared on time spy (I haven't found the link for it), showing it is using a variant of the intel 10nm i7-1065g7.

Thoughts: Hardware wise it is decent, can't say the same for the price, if they don't change the price of the device then it might be worth the money. Interested in what they are going to use of the regular 11 inch macbook and mac mini, if any.

A bit disappointing that it both costs more and performs worse than other solutions, but I think I agree with your conclusion. At this moment, this product is basically just a Corsair fashion statement. I wonder how it would perform if you slapped Noctua's 120mm fans on it and 3d printed a shroud to slide them onto Corsair's mechanism? Of course, you're killing the price/performance (and much of the point of this product) in the meantime, but it could be interesting,

you can buy some old dell optimex or whatever that run pentium D's for that price. 

No it isn't as simple as that, AMD won't release a card priced around the GTX 780 pricepoint. AMD is about value. And I honestly doubt AMD has a chip with the same performance as GK110.
 
Oh and AMD already has a card that beats the 780, it's called 7990. That is their strategy to beat Nvidia high-end cards, dual GPU cards.

Yeah, I thought that Linus did a video on this on NCIXcom, so I would check that out if I were you. In my opinion, it is the ideal monitor for a surround setup due to the fact that it is IPS, great color quality and great viewing angles, as well as thin beezles, very thin, however, despite the 0.08 in. bezzle, similar to the MX279H from Asus, the image doesn't start exactly at the beezle (But you will HARDLY notice it). With that panel, you only get a 60 hz refrezh rate, and that turns people off especially since better refresh rates is better in some people's eyes, but in surround scenarios, you will barely even get 60 FPS even with two cards or dual gpu cards (two gpus in one enclosure). Oh, and don't worry about the 5ms response time; if it is in the range of 1-5 ms, you are not In the DANGER ZONE -- LOL :P).
