  1. Ok. Will I have issues dragging things over from one monitor to the other like I did a while back with hdmi and dvi?
  2. Hello you lovely people. I currently have a samsung 23 inch monitor and im looking to buy a new monitor. Im going to buy the samsung cf391. I have a few questions though and maybe you guys can help me out. My plan is to run these 2 monitores in a dual setup. Im running a msi gtx 1080 gaming X video card in my PC. That video card has 3 display ports and 1 hdmi port. My current 23 inch monitor is running off the hdmi port because it only has a vga and hdmi in. The cf391 has a display port in and hdmi in. My plan is to run the cf391 as my main monitor through display port and I could just go out and buy a display port to hdmi cable or adaptor for the other 23 inch monitor. Is this correct? Would it work like this? I have my doubts because I remember setting up something like this years back but with dvi and hdmi and the screen sharing didnt work. EDIT: i just found the comprehesive guide on all of this.
  3. Ah ok. Well if you remember let me know might help.
  4. Thanks! Ill try and maybe do that, though flashing it gets me a bit nervous. Thats a good idea but I used kingoroot and it didnt work What does it mean?
  5. Hello community! Id like to root my tablet but having little knowledge of the subject gets me a little uneasy. So given my ignorance, Ive been looking around for apk type solutions here and there but none of them work. Here is my tablet info: Country: Imported from Chile. Brand: samsung Model: SM-P900 Device: v1awifi Version: 1.2.4 (release 24) Locale: English (United States) Android version: 5.0.2 Build number: LRX22G.P900UBS0BQA1 Has anyone here ever rooted this kind of tablet before? Can it be rooted?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Nick.
  6. Hey! I just saw this and your issue seems familiar to what happened to me. This happened to me when i had my gtx 680 in the system and recently with the gtx 1080. Both times i fixed it by opening the case and blowing out all the dirt and dust as much as possible. The gtx 680 was a bit more dirty so i had to actually take it apart, clean piece by piece, reapply the gpu thermal paste and put it back together. I would recommend opening the case, using some kind of blower to remove the loose dirt and dust and then using a compressed air can in small spaces like the pcie slots and ram slots. Try cleaning out the hdmi, dvi and vga ports on your card and your monitor. If you see some issues with your ssd, try cleaning the connections to your storage devices aswell. So i dont know if this will help you but your problem seems like the same issue i had so it wouldnt hurt to try it out. Let us know how it goes
  7. I hope so. Im considering getting that recommended T420 though.
  8. That is true and its a nice laptop. I'll consider it. Thanks alot!
  9. Thanks alot guys. I really appreciate your input. I think its the B800. I'll need to ask. I still need to talk to him about it without giving out any hints about me getting him one but I dont think he will in the short-term. I just want to help him out now with things that he needs to do and then Im sure he'll be able to buy a better one down the line so he can use CAD programs and all that. I thought about that too but theyre hard to find here =/. It is a possibility though.
  10. Hello There! I wanted to ask you guys if you had any experience with a laptop with a celeron type CPU in it. Are you able to use internet, watch videos and type up reports in word or google docs with minimal lag or issues? Heres the reason to why im asking: Im going to buy a laptop for this person I know. Hes not financially privileged as some people are and hes going to start his second year of architecture in college. I just want to know if a celeron based laptop is enough for him to work comfortably on reports and stuff so he doesnt need to go to some cyber cafe and work on the PCs there. Im thinking if I should go for a core i3 (or maybe its too much?) or the celeron CPU. Theres another issue with the RAM. All the laptops Ive seen come with 4gb of RAM and seeing that they come with win10 it might have to be upgraded to 8gb just in case. What do you guys think?
  11. I currently have a razer mamba 2012, a cheap genius keyboard and the lowest tier sennheiser headset I could find. I've never heard of this brand but I would be nice to try it out.
  12. I currently have a MSI GTX 680 lightning. Its fast and all and it works great but i tend to run out of VRAM in some games and when i work in substance painter. So this card would be a nice replacement.
  13. This projector looked really nice in the video. It would be great to play BF4 and BF1 on it
  14. Im currently using an older genius kb keyboard which i bought out of necesity because the one i was using before this one just randomly stopped working. This keyboard has the wasd keys all rubbed out and scrached up and the space and "1" key sometimes dont work. A replacement would be nice!
