2 Titan Xs are insane overkill man, just don't. Grab one Titan X or two 980s. Also, I would grab some standard cas-9 1600Mhz RAM as it will be totally fine.. EDIT: With one Titan X or two 980s you will be getting about 80-90 fps on all maxed out 1440p, reason is, why would you even need more than that?

You should probably get the 4690k and overclock it to shit if you want to get the most of that pick.

So far I'm in love with every aspect of the game, especially with the breathtaking graphics (scenery etc). I'm running the game with a combo of high/ultra settings (mostly ultra) with hairworks disabled and no HBAO+ on post-processing. The only thing that is noticeably irritating is the rendering distance. I can almost always notice patches of grass growing 100 feet in front of me, can't seem to find a setting to change that. Any insight?

That rig is not worth 1000€. The cpu will bottleneck the gpu and for the same money, you could make a way better rig. EDIT: I would try snatching up that 290x if Ι cοuld.
