Seasonic are quieter but i don't think you would notice 15-20 dBa, although there were reports of coil whine with RM related to low sleep states.

fx has had some gpu tripping issues, so it's not

but by now FX shouldn't be sold anymore, since it's made EOL by Seasonic

the new GX/GM models look like this

    RMx
better fan in cable caps doesn't meet atx 2.52 due to low power efficiency slightly better performance RM
meets atx 2.52 rather cheap fan no in-cable caps
my personal preference is to RMx, but it depends on the price and how RM is priced against TXm

for overclocking, definitely the Gaming Plus. Mosfets are more efficient, same number of mosfets and bigger heatsink means better CPU core power delivery. Less memory slots also means better memory overclocking (less signal interference as distance to the CPU is reduced)

    better looking maybe

the specsheet isn't important for people that don't understand it

what you should know: the steel legend, gaming pro and pro4 are in powerdelivery close enough to each other

Yeah. 450w would be plenty. Should see about 250w max from that system.
