The problem is even if a AMD CPU has relevant institution sets (and they have everything relivent) the output of Intel's compiler feeds it the slower code simply because it is not an Intel CPU, not because there is a good reason to.

Also while they never explicitly said that until a lawsuit was settled they never said it didn't. Now they have to of course.

But in the spreadsheet he prepared, it show the R7950 overclocked is overvolted to 1.25v.

Radeon 7990 not equivalent to 770 though but should be able to fit into the budget

also if you count in the never settle forever bundle, its a way better deal than the 760

What do you mean barely ?
My HD 7950 is overclocked 1150/1650 at 1,25 volts and its faster than a 7970 ghz, so i don't understand what you mean with it being not as fast.

Did you know that nvidia locks your voltage? And you can only go as high as cold the card is, so if you have a waterblock on nvida card you can get the highest potetntial overclock.

Doesn't have anything with fanboyism to do its just a pretty solid card, and i wished nvidia would too do a Never Settle bundle. But when the 7970ghz he mentioned is so cheap its a no brainer to to with it.
What i don't get how you can say that the 780 is so much faster than a HD7970 its roughly 6-12 fps more, i would rather spend more cash and get a titan instead.

Dravic is a blight on this forum I can't believe that after all the warnings he wasn't eventually banned.
Personal attacks on the forum are against the rules but somebody has to put a stop to his destructive efforts.

1-Still slower than 7970 and has less vram.

2-overclocks worse than 680, watch the linus review.
3-even with the extra memory frequency still loses out to the 7970.
4-you can't buy a 770 with the titan cooler, only nvidia samples have it. go to newegg.com or amazon.com you won't find a single 770 with that cooler.
even pny which is notorious for using nvidia reference coolers is using the terrible 680 cooler on the 770 !
5 GPU boost 2.0 is very buggy and is 770 perform worse.

LOOL ! so all of these "new" features that nvidia has been bragging about like geforce experience gpu boost 2.0 and shadowplay are either totally broken or still non existent.

These prices are quite old, you could grab reference 680s and 670s for that much for over 2 months now, but these prices only apply to the reference cards which I wouldn't recommend to anyone, they get very hot and don't overclock well at all.

On the contrary, with how crappy the 770 looks at the moment, i doubt the prices would fall anyhow. If anything the prices may even increase, since the 600 series will no longer be in production.

I agree, spending 400 dollars for a graphics card to game on 1080p is like paying 200$ to get into an amusement park and riding the kiddie ride.

Something like a 660 ti or a 7870 tahiti le is perfect for 1080p. There is no need to spend more than 280$ for 1080p gaming.
