  1. Okay thanks! I'll definitely do that on Monday or maybe I'll just use IE, who knows yet.
  2. Do you have any idea on how to get it to work on Chrome? I'm doing microsoft updates on it just to see if that works, probably not but I thought the same thing about Internet Explorer
  3. So am I stuck with IE? The grade below me has laptop's the school provides and they can use Google Chrome. But it is no big deal if I can't
  4. Hello, I'm having troubles connecting my laptop to my school's guest internet. Every time I connect I know I am suppose to sign in, but it won't let me sign in until I download java, which I already downloaded java that's the frustrating part. Here's the message: https://n46.network-auth.com/splash/?mac=00%3A18%3A0A%3A32%3A59%3A52&client_ip=10.220.61.36&client_mac=6C:FA:A7:2F:4F:80&vap=1&a=59129aacfb6cebbe2c52f30ef3424209f7252e82&b=1750474&auth_version=5&key=e2ce4232c182fc232858eaed0338d1d6b9de2240&acl_ver=P8185076V2&continue_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.msftncsi.com%2Fredirect I tried downloading both versions of java but they still don't work and I tried downloading multiple times. The funny thing is that my phone and tablet connects to it with no problem. All of this is on Google Chrome, I did try FireFox and that still didn't work. For laughs I tried Internet Explorer, and it actually worked! So how can I get Google Chrome to work? I tried to see if there was an update but it says it is up to date. Here's my laptop: http://www.engadget.com/products/asus/eeebook/x205/specs/ Is there anything I can do? Thanks!
  5. I'm building my first gaming pc and I need to choose a graphic card. Here's my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bNtYZL (a 1TB hard drive and optical drive from my current computer) XFX Radeon R9 380: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-r9380p2255 SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 380: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100384nt4gocl I'm shooting for ultra high settings for all my games I play at 720p. Games I play: -Spintires -Beamng.drive -Black ops 2 -Need For Speed:Most Wanted - Battle Field 4 Thanks!
  6. Would those graphic cards be good for future games at the same resolution and game settings? Or should I go with a R9 380 if I want to keep running my games at max settings
  7. Thank you everyone for all the answers! Really helped a lot!
  8. Hello, I'm building my first pc and I have every part chose but the graphics card, just because I have no clue which card can give me the settings I want. Here's my pc: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bNtYZL (with a 1TB hard drive and Optical drive) *Note, I do not plan of overclocking the graphics card at all. I have a 720p Vizio T.V. and I want ultra high settings at around 60 FPS. Sorry if I sound kind of demanding, I usually get 8-20 FPS for the games I play and I want to feel and see what 60 FPS looks at high settings. Here's the games I play: -Spintires -BeamNG.drive -Black ops 2 - Black ops 3 (when it comes out) -Need For Speed: Most Wanted -Battle Field 3 -Battle Field 4 ____________________________________________________________________________ If you can, try to keep the card under $200.00, but I can go up to $250 if I need to. Thank you!
  9. Wait, I got confused, I get it about uninstalling the product key, but how do I get it on my new computer?
  10. Not to take time out of your busy life, but can you show me a video or explain it yourself on how to put it on my new system? Would it be like a fresh install because that's what I want. Thanks
  11. I'm new to computers and building my first one, and I'm super excited because it has been a great experience for me. Currently I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and I'm wondering if I can use that in my new computer build that doesn't have any OS on it. Thank you so much!
  12. Oh I'm so sorry, I forgot to put that I will be using a 1TB hard drive from my current computer. Would you recommend getting a WD 500 GB black hard drive to put all my games on? The SSD is going to be used for Windows 10
  13. Yeah, down the road I will probably upgrade to the i5- 4690k or maybe even an i7 just so I can brag I have a i7 in my computer. Since this is my first computer, my first priority is just to get it running, that is why I chose the i5-4460 instead of the i5 4690k
  14. I'm building my first pc and I'm stuck on the graphic card and I can't decide which one would be the best. Here is my system: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bNtYZL Here are the 2 cards: 1.) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-strixgtx970dc2oc4gd5 2.) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100362vxsr Right now I have a 720p T.V as a monitor, if I get one of the cards, I will be buying a 1080p or a 1440p gaming monitor. I would like to get ultra/max settings for all the games I play which include -spintires -BeamNG.drive - Black ops 2 -Black ops 3 (when it comes out) -Battle field 4 -Need for Speed: Most Wanted
  15. I'm building my first pc and I have every single part except the graphics card. Reason why is I keep changing my mind and can't decide. Here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jjyjQ7 Yes I know I'm an idiot for getting a 550W PSU, I wasn't thinking and I'm kicking myself for not going bigger Pretty much I can only have a graphics card that can go up to 350W My max budget for a graphics card is $310.00. I do want ultra high settings for all the games I play which include -Spintires -BeamNG.Drive -Need for Speed: Most Wanted -Black ops 2 - Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 - Mx vs ATV: Reflex -Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game -Black ops 3 (when it comes out) and future games. *Note I'm only using a 720P Vizio T.V. Here's the graphics card I was going to get: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-100362vxsr So would it be worth it buying a 650/750W PSU so I can use this graphics card? Or is the 550W enough? I haven't checked yet and plus I will not be doing any over clocking. Thanks
  16. Hello, I have my system all built except for the graphic card, and that's because I can't figure out which card would be best for me. Here's my build: (with a 1 TB hard drive and Optical Drive from my current computer, and it's going to be Windows 10) I would like ultra high settings on all the game I play. I use a Vizio 23" T.V. that gets 720p (i think) Games I play: - spintires -BeamNg.drive -Black Ops 2 -MW3 -Battle Field 4 -America's Army: Proving Grounds -Need For Speed: Most Wanted _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Here is the two cards I have chosen: 1.) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-r9290xedfd 2.) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp43975kr I know these cards are overkill, but I'm planing on keeping this computer for many years to come. I just want something that can help me still play 5-10 years down the road. Thanks! If you have a better card, please put it down! My max budget is $320. Thanks
  17. Okay there is a problem, I can't because every time I log in it instantly comes up with the blue screen, I wrote it all down if you want to see it if you think that might help
  18. Thanks for the reply, I'll make sure l'll do that test
  19. I was playing black ops 2 zombie, and I used new 8 GB of RAM in my current computer since the game recommends 8 GB. Well I was playing and my game froze for a second and the blue screen of death came up. I wasn't too upset because my computer is kind of old. So I restarted it and when I logged in the blue screen of death came back up. Okay no big deal, so I tried the original RAM and it worked as you can probably tell. But the thing is before it all did this, it happened once before last week, with the original RAM. So is the 8 GB RAM bad and should I send it back for a replacement? Is it the RAM that is causing the blue screen of death? Is there anything I can do fix this? Thanks! *When I say original RAM I mean the RAM that came with the computer when I bought it
  20. I just bought Black ops 2 for the pc, and I have to have all the graphic settings on low with the smallest screen possible just to get a whopping max 20 FPS. Well my 10 year old little brother was playing and he didn't know that the graphics had to be low so he turned it all up to high/ultra settings. Well ever since he hit apply every time I try to open it, all I get is a black screen which later Windows says "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly" and the game crashes. Is there anything I can do to get me to the settings so I can turn it all down? I tried to re-download it but that didn't seem to help. Here is my pc (don't laugh): http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02628380 Would more RAM help? I can use the 8 GB sticks from my computer build in this one if you think that could help
  21. Thanks for the answer! I'm going to be keeping this computer for awhile so I figured go with all the fans, kind of puts my mind at ease with heat. And I am planing on over clocking in the future, I just want to get it up and running with decent parts. Thanks again
  22. Hello, I'm building my first computer as you can probably tell from the title. The only problem I have is I have no clue what's good and what's not. I keep on going back and forth with the graphic card, but if you think the one I chose sucks, and you can put a better one, put it. Thanks! Computer: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bP38qs (with 1TB and Optical Drive, and Windows 10, but Windows 8.1 for now) I want ultra high settings, I use a Vizio 23 inch t.v. (I think it's 720p) Games I play: -Spintires -BeamNG.drive -Black ops 2 -Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - CounterStrike:GO -Dirt 3 Thanks!
