JorksX got a reaction from Dencel in New case design
So I am designing new case what I am planing to make this summer.
At the same time when I was making this case I learned littlebit of sketchup
Inside there will be 3x 120mm radiator in back panel and 2 air intakes.
The whole case will be sound and air isolated so only intakes are from bottom fans.
Gpu and Cpu are water cooled.
I'm not sure about the colors yet but I was thinking something like white carbon fiber.
There will be some leds and all that cool stuff :3
Any suggestions? Is it even worth trying something like this?

JorksX reacted to Naveronasis in Some Old Rigs :D (feel free to post your own)
Digging through my photo's I found some of my old rigs/setups Figured I would show them off to you guys.
Working on a major rig rebuild/upgrade here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/353735-atx-not-micro-2-tier-cube-transplant-upgrades-mm-h2go-sli/
Circa 2002:
Stats:
2ghz athlon 64
Geforce 5800gtx
2gb ram DDR2
The little TV is actually a professional camera monitor that I used for a second screen to play my TV tuner on. I also had a second win95 computer there to look up things on the internet while playing FFXI. Also the Gamecube was hooked up VIA a scanline converter. And the speakers are 800watts, 4 12" 2 15" over 2 amps sometimes setup in 4.0 surround sound.
Another awful pan shot
And now from 2007.... The Rave Machine!
This was a Phenom II (I think)
In its early days it had SLI 7800GTX but by now its been upgraded either to a 9800 or 280gtx. with 4gb of ram, eventually upgraded to 8gb.

JorksX got a reaction from nicon in First computer case mod
Good idea.
360mm radiador would be cool but lets think about that when I build the custon loop. Now its sealed and I dont really want to open it because I dont have liquid to fill it again.
At first I tought that I hide the wires under the sound isolating material but I think your idea is better.

JorksX got a reaction from Tim Drake in First computer case mod
For my eyes, yes thats pretty good
Sure If I have many money () I would by normal case and buy bolt on things
But for some reason, I like to do everything from scratch

Found the problem, somehow windows tried to communicate with my other hdd what I have only for stuff I need, it has no windows files. Unplugged the HDD so there was only my ssd with windows. And everything booted up normally.
Wierd stuff
Thanks anyway

JorksX got a reaction from Sharif in First computer case mod
Hi!
This is my first build log and my first computer case mod.
Hope you like it
The idea is something like toxic or something like biohazard theme.
All ideas are welcome.
I bought cheap case just because I wanted to try some things on it.
Also this build is very cheap and I will try to make everything myself and not buy new things.
Case: LC-power pro 927B
Motherboard: Asus m5a99x r2 evo
Cpu: amd fx 8350
Gpu: Geforce gts 450
PSU: I have no clue, got it from school. some 500W
SSD: Kingston fury 240gb
RAM: Kingston hyperx CL10 1866MHz DDR3
Cooler: Antec 650
Mouse: deathadder chroma
Keyboard: Some chines tuning keyboard
Headset: steelseries siberia v2
PSU and GPU I will upgrade
Also I will make custon watercooling loop when I get littlebit more money.
Case looked like this when I first got it
First things I did ->
Inside is some random motherboard with stock cooler just for show.
Then I started to do some lighting.
Tried some hose just for show again
Now I went grazy and removed everything I did.
The sound isolating material was just test, they will not be there when its all finished.
So yeah, I went grazy with my dremel and removed HDD places and everything else what I didnt need.
Now the whole thing looks like this:
The paint looks terrible and I think something else. The green fans will be replaces with green led fans.
Under the HDD is SSD
I will replace cables and hide every cable as soon as I get my new PSU.
And the sound isolating material will be replaced beautifully again so it hides most of the cables.
Oh yeah, the side panel will have real glass with smoked tint at the end
As I said, I will try to make everything myself so no hard feelings

JorksX got a reaction from TDP_Equinox in Sealed watercool loop temps!
Rma was accepted and Im sending this cpu to then today:) -
JorksX reacted to Spannerhands in Sealed watercool loop temps!
RMA the cooler its not working correctly...
Stop testing it with prime until you change the cooler...
Warning the fact its dropping cores in prime on stock settings is worrying especially if its before it reached 62c again 61c is the recommended MAX core temp! you should not be seeing temps over 55c ever with that cooler on stock settings... (unless its 40c in your room)
