Can't wait to see the finished product. I really like the photos you've taken so far.

Any luck?

Screwdriver kit with all types of bits (similar to ifixit) Multiple usb flash drives (linux live, win7 and win 10 isos) Micro SD/SD card adapter to usb and or card reader plenty of spare cables (micro usb, ethernet, power etc) Sata+power to usb to connect to Hard drives and such (I left laptop out because I feel like that doesn't count along with my phone) And on a rough day my whole setup would include my dremel my soldering iron and some wire strippers/cutters because i deal with a lot of other hardware that I need to fix

I have a droid turbo and until recently it's been the best daily driver I've ever had. the only issue I have with it is recently it has been removing my security lock pin by itself and even if i re-add it, it has been taken off multiple times. It did it multiple times in a row then i had a lucky streak of about a day when it kept the screen lock now it's gone again. Anyone have any idea of what's going on with it?

you would be able to move the files (probably assuming you don't need to unlock the tablet to transfer files) but would not be able to actually install them. does your tablet have a keyboard or is it just the tablet? if it has a keyboard you ca ntry spamming F8 while turning it on to get to the advanced boot menu. If it does not doing something similar to this http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1653275/fix-irql-equal-error-windows.html would need to be done to access your device at all using a sd card or something similar with a copy of windows on it to launch the repair option and install the new drivers (this Applies to both windows 8 and 10 im pretty sure) I'm still looking around I'll let you know if i find anything. EDIT: Don't worry about the bluescreen crap on that guide i link only look at the creating bootable repair disk part it was the best one i could find.

If it's windows 10 it likes to download updates in the background which have caused many performance issues on my end fps wise and disk usage wise.

Fallout 4 crashing to desktop on initial start
IReallyShouldBeWorking replied to Ottawa_Brewer's topic in Troubleshooting
I would try a reinstall or clean install of an older driver (deleting the temp files etc there are plenty of guides for how to do that). I have a similar issue but instead of loading screen the first play through its middle of playing, after a re-launch it works fine. I am switching out my gpu today so unfortunately I won't be troubleshooting much but i'll help if I can. -
is there a way you can get this device into a safe mode or it blinks the screen from the start?

if you can pay it off fast it is soo worth it. just don't dig yourself a hole and everything will be fine. I've used amazons and it gave 6 months to pay for no interest. paid off not a cent over sales price. Yeah both Newegg and Amazon have their own "credit cards" and plans separate from paypal but I'm pretty sure they use the same credit company (newegg and amazon that is) at least they did the last time I looked into it.

What compromises did you make on your system?

I was running my Computer on a "bench" (ok the top of a cardboard box) for a month while waiting for a case with wires everywhere and everything on a table. -
