Is there any reason you are using Atom instead of a more "helpful" IDE? Atom is fine for stuff like PHP, JS, HTML, CSS,.... but once you get to more "complex" object oriented languages it gets messy(lots of stuff to remember). That's when you really benefit from a good IDE. I would suggest you look into IntelliJ (https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/), its free(with some limitations on a couple of frameworks,..) and they even give out free licences for students.. :)

Until now i had 2 monitors, their lifetime is coming to an end.. I am just looking for a decent monitor price/quality and looking for suggestions

Hi all, currently i am in the process of buying 2 new monitors(or maybe 1 ultra wide.. not sure yet - since there is still more space on 2x 24"). As far as my research goes, all the leads somehow end on this: http://www.dell.com/ed/business/p/dell-u2414h/pd The idea is to have 2 monitors side by side on monitor arms, the ideal budget would be 400eur(could stretch some more if there is a noticeable improvement in quality). The monitors will be primarily be used for work(development) and casual gaming(MMORPG, moba, FPS, racing sims,...). Thanks in advance for any tips and suggestions

Hello ltt comunity, for the last couple of weeks i've been trying to figure out whats waking up my hard drive.. my main boot drive its a SSD.. Its just annyoing to have my pc turned on.. doing nothing(im not using it..) and the hard drive keeps turning on and off randomly.. any advice on how to "debug" this? to find the trigger of the wake up so i can disable it? I tried to close all the user apps.. so apparently its a windows service or smth.. tnx for any advice p.s. i did a lot of google research about this topic.. so far nothing helped edit: attaching the only "reason" that i found for disk wake up.. but can't figure out whats triggering this (D: drive is the hard drive)

Hi, it's been a long time since i did a full build and now when a friend asked me to make him a PC, i started to check the web and i found out that my knowledge it's "a little bit out-dated". So i need a bit of help He will use this PC for Gaming(Battlefield 4, Fifa 2015, Sims 4, Minecraft,...) as you can see, nothing that special. But he wants to record what is he playing and edit those videos.. He isn't much of a PC guy, so overclocking and stuff like this can't be an option. Budget: 900€ Entry level gaming mouse + full PC. I came up with something like this: Asus M5A99FX R2.0 AMD FX-8350 Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3 1600mhz@9–9–9–24 GeForce GTX 750ti (asus) Kingston SSD 120GB(SV300S37A) WD Green 500GB PSU Antec 650w And a simple PC case..
