    Can I plug my WiFi/Bluetooth expansion card into my PCIe x16 slot? The reason is that my case has some funky covers for the PCI slots and one of them is removal with a thumb screw where as the other three either need to bent or broken off in order to put something in a slot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    Just built a new HTPC and I picked up a BD optical drive (OEM). I knew going in that I would need software to enable BD playback. Now I'm looking for some help picking the best or most effective software to use for BD playback. I am interested in your opinions and experience so that I select one that I won't be disappointed with. The software isn't cheap so I don't want to waste my money. Thank you in advance!

    Probably not haha...however I am running an APU (A8-6600K) and it looks to be running a little hot for my taste and that Noctua will definitely cool it down

    Yea I was going to get that one but the clearance in my case is a little too close for comfort. I'm going to go with the Noctua NH-D9L

    stock for now. i just built this PC...it's just a HTPC and I wasn't sure how the stock cooler would go for that. I plan on getting an aftermarket cooler in the future, but I wanted something to compare to.

    How do the wireless controllers communicate with the Xbox360 or with a PC in general? Do they use Bluetooth or a RF or something? I ask because my PC has a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth expansion card and I'm wondering if a Xbox controller would work as well.

    Does GPU-Z work with the iGPU in my APU. I don't have a dedicated graphics card.

    How would I check the air flow. My temp was hovering around 50C with the side panel on and with it off.

    This is most likely a stretch but will my temps be affected by the thermal paste being brand new? Also, it's the pre-applied thermal paste on the stock cooler.

    Welcome... For gaming definitely Intel. Surprisingly you can get a lot of bang for your buck on that side. Good luck with your build!
