Thank you, I wanted something a little different from the norm. It has a few things about it that are kind of wacky and I would like changed but it is solid.

Hi guys, I recently built a new HTPC and the case came with front intake LED lit fan. It's brighter than I was hoping for. So I'm looking at trying to replace it. I really like Noctua fans and I really don't want that ugly brown fan to show in the front. Has anyone had experience with their "industrial" black case fans? I'm looking at the NF-F12 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KFCR5BA/?tag=pcpapi-20). Is this even the right type of fan I should be looking for. I do not have any water cooling in this case and am confused about air flow vs. static pressure. I'm guessing I want an air flow style fan. It's at a good price considering it's Noctua. Any help or advice you could provide would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

No because the zipties hold the end and you spin you want to do it tight as possible. Also, if you have three cables a braid holds even better.

We are going to be recycling the tower he currently has. Just overhauling the hardware. The stock coolers tend be noisy and I don't like that they are downward firing. Would prefer something that flows across the mobo. -

Hi guys, I'm helping a buddy work out a new gaming PC for him. He wants to play games like DOTA, WOW, LOL, etc. I want to go with Intel for the CPU but will the i3 work fine or should we try to go with an i5? Secondly, not sure whether to go with the GTX960 or a R9 either 270 or 290? Finally I'm assuming that if we upgrade to an i5 and a different GPU we'll need to select a larger PSU. Here is the part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hRnPD3 Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

When you have two cables going to ziptie together (see last picture), if you place one ziptie where the cables meet then simply spin the cables around eachother until the other end where you can place another ziptie. Not only is this effective but offers a pretty cool look.

It's based on preference and your setup. If you want something that looks like some AV equipment then they have those available. If you want something bigger (I went with a mini tower) you can select that. There isn't just one answer for which is best. What is best for me is probably different from what is best for you.

I can imagine out of all the windows users the percentage that actually use WMC is pretty small. However, the actual number is probably decently large. That will be a lot of people missing that software and I think Microsoft will get some negative feedback saying people want that software or something that is equivalent.

Correct, but Windows 10 looks like it may have some nice features that I may want to take advantage of.

Hi all, I have a HTPC and currently trying to decide which media center software to use. Windows Media Center, iTunes, or something else. I have a pretty extensive collection of digital media (including music, movies, and TV shows). I have heard from PCPer that Windows 10 will not have or support Windows Media Center (even as an extension like 8.1). When 10 launches I will most likely upgrade and will need some software to organize and view the media. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure how 30 euro converts to USD but the T4 I think would be a fine choice. In my first build I was going to go with the EVO212 but couldn't for the same reason. I chose the Noctua NH-D9L instead. The Noctua is about 15-20 USD more expensive but should be quieter and still have great performance.
