The htc one m8 has an sd card slot and supposedly supports up to a 128gb micro sd card. i use a 32gb in mine

The HTC has better battery life...though I can't remember if it's removable or not.

Are you not wanting that large of a screen, or that large of a phone?
The G3 is smaller than the HTC One. Even with the 0.5" larger screen.
Both have MicroSD card slots.
 
If you want front facing speakers you only really have two choices; HTC M8 or Sony Z2.
