  1. BlackFire is crazy work obsessed multitasker; she's the kind of person that would sit watching four monitors with two different programs per waiting for something she can do to come up. She is on a bizaar sleep schedule and no done quite knows when she'll be in or out of the office, however there are rumors that she usually sleeps there. She has a bit of dysfunctional house life, and that has led to her work becoming her life.
  2. Remember to mark solved if @Art Vandelay answered your question so other users don't have to make a thread for the same question.
  3. I said Little Ceasar's, but a semi-local chain called Mary's Pizza Shack (http://www.maryspizzashack.com/) is way better. Unfortunetly Mary's is for times the price of Little Ceasars.
  4. I'm currently really excited for the Dell 4K monitor, and that's about all actually...
  5. That's how the game is played. You do have 20,000 people to play with; they just don't spend time on pubs, because they're all hardcore types. Valve is only looking into how many people are playing the game through Steam regularly; they aren't just going to look over every player's shoulder and give you info on what server they're connected to and tell you if it's public or private. If you want that kind of monitoring the NSA is probably your best bet.
  6. I used exodushosting.net, and it's a satisfying and simple experience thus far.
  7. Put it in a fund to donate to Linustechtips during the next donation event, errr, I mean, errrm, I'm not shilling! Actually just buy a Stinky Footpad (99.99 reduced holiday price).
  8. The thing you stare at when using a computer is a monitor, not a computer.
  9. My little sister wants me to setup a Minecraft server for her, but I already run a Mumble server from home, and my family uses lots of bandwidth+data. I want to find an inexpensive hosting service that is easy to use as possible. They player count will likely never go over 4, so lowest tier plans will be fine. If it ends up being relatively inexpensive, I'd like to host a TF2 server on the service as well (with the prices I've seen this is a pipe dream just think about the Minecraft server). Anyone have any particular recommendations? The ones with high search ranking http://www.xenonservers.com/minecraft.php and http://www.gameservers.com/game_servers/minecraft.php
  10. He does have better computers, but he likes a specialized software on this one. Note:I know I'm supposed to post one comment quoting all three of comments I adressed; I have trouble doing that because I'm on the mobile version.
  11. I need it to run some specialized software; can I get some guidance finding a DOS emulator that would be fit for this situation.
  12. So my Grandfather has me fixing his old work machine that uses software he is very familiar with (i.e. don't tell me to buy a new computer and get new software [yet]). Okay, it's able to boot up, and after it does I get the error code 10480. It shows 10480 *arrow to the right* *OK with a slash through it* *arrow pointing right* *book with IBM logo on it*. Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of the error. I also disassembled the machine and checked for any physical damage (none was found). I reseated the RAM and reattached all of the expansion cards; the pictures are below. I assume the HDD is dying; it won't boot without it though. I presume this means it's not all the way dead. I don't have access to the manual yet, but my Grandfather is trying to get it from his work. If anyone can find the manual online it would be of great help. Below are all the pictures I took. This one is just me trying out a buckling spring keyboard
  13. I'm not a fan. The reason a like button is the common form of rating on the internet is so you can have an accurate representation of how many people agree with/enjoy another users post. Creating a point system is forcing people to 'use' the site in ways that will grant points as apposed to improving the community, discussing, and helping others. It also forces users earn the ability to show how the feel about something, when they should have that ability by default.
  14. The something similar to the components in this video... Except a 780ti instead of the Quadro and 780.This would be my best guess for specs he would want http://pcpartpicker.com/p/25JmF but without a price range it's hard to figure out exactly what you should buy.
  15. I like to listen to this one as a whole; whereas, I like to listen to each song of the last one individually. Both are pretty good in my opinion.
