I have a $1000 gaming PC and a toddler so I just wish time to sit at it and play a game or two...

This point always bothered me. That's a ~$2000 USD or greater build, but you won't spend $60 on software to get your desired use out of it.

And it's not just you that I'm picking on about that. I fall into the same trap all the time, it just never made sense to me that we build multi-thousand dollar PC's and then refuse to spend any money on software to run them.

Honestly I would just sell the whole thing on eBay. Well get well over a grand and then you can always build another one later and have the extra money. 

Set it up with a windows build that runs remote desktop and get a good router if you don't have one then you can remote into it from your laptop if you need more power and don't want to sit down in front of a desktop.

Remote gaming would be a good reason to keep a gaming PC around. It's pretty high end too, so you could get some decent multitasking done with it as well.

I would downgrade, unless your on fiber you will never get your full speed. 

I doubt it is a problem with your internet setup. Get into contact with your Internet Service Provider or ISP, and ask them why you are getting shortages. If these are frequent, get compensation or switch providers.

Wow only 1 upstream channel. You live in the dark ages. The modem could be over heating, but its hard to know. 

AMPs will not help you. Cable modems have to stay with in a certain signal spec. While you might help your down stream signal with an AMP is will surely fuck the upstream signal. My guess is your modem is running out of spec. The easy way to check it is to go to 192.168.100.1 in a web browser. That will be the modem diagnostic pages, then compare to this site: https://www.dslreports.com/faq/5862
 
You might be droping in and out of the acceptable range, if your modem is running at the edge of what is acceptable. Signal levels can change as much as 3db during the day due to temperature. If you notice your self out of the range then you might have to call the ISP. Other things you can do is make sure all connection are good and tight. When you look at your modem signal pay close attention to the uncorrectable errors. Its ok to have a few, hell I got a few hundred on mine. But if you notice that you have much much more that could indicate some form of interference on the cable system. Again you would have to call the ISP so they could troubleshoot that. 

You can use software like SpeedFan or use a vga fan adapter. Alternatively, you can stress test the graphics card and set a static rpm for the fan.

You can plug them into a fan header on your motherboard or to the psu with a molex adapter. Alternatively, you can use a vga fan adapter.

gonna have to set both to 1080p, that is for the easiest solution
 
edit: only solution I know of off the top of my head, I'm sure there is some kind of picture in picture

I ended up fixing it for now... I removed my mini hum eliminator and bam!! Don't know why or how but it did the trick. Sorrry for not providing setup details. I don't find it being of much use now providing these details. But in case you are wondering I have an amplifier, mixing board (for using logic pro on my mac), Behringer MINIFBQ FBQ800, and thats it, not so complicated now that I think about it! 

@aedan929 How are you so positive about your GPU being dead, especially with prices these days? I admire your positivity
