79 Potatoes got a reaction from Felipe9999 in Why are internal USB 3.0 connectors always so large?
Sadly the header isn't designed to be reversed (even though it'd be pretty simple by just moving some pins)
    why? I don't really know...

Not worth it by any stretch of the imagination . You can get a gt 1030 new for that price , and that's not even considered such a great deal either.

79 Potatoes reacted to GoodBytes in North Korea company 'Myohyang IT', releases a new tablet called: iPad
The revolutionary and visionary North Korean company: Myohyang IT, has released exclusively to the region, a new type of computational device that brings a Star Trek innovation idea into reality. More specifically, the Personal Access Data Devices, or PADDs as it is called in the TV show series and books, which is a laptop type of device that is super thin, and light with a touch screen top to bottom, without a keyboard. You type using a on screen keyboard. It allows you to have a PC like experience on this slim and handy form factor.

More specifically it features a touch optimized GUI, with the ability to watch videos on how great the country is, read The Great Leader favorite and highly recommended books, view beautiful picture depicting the wonderful vistas of the country, and the worlds best web browser ever created which is the only one that allows you to view all 25 websites that exists (This web site does not exists).

No information on the OS name exactly, but it is believed to be powered by the groundbreaking, unique, Earth shattering, and simply the best: Red Star OS

The company calls this type of new computational form factor device: Tablet Computers, and the product name in question is called: iPad.

The iPad features mighty performance under the hood to give you the best experience possible. It uses nothing else then the best science-fiction level hardware:
A 1GHz CPU - Super computer speeds right there. 512MB RAM - More RAM than you can dream 8GB eMMC internal storage - Just enough to backup the internet, all of The Great Leader books, and documentary videos on how the great the The Great Leader is. 16GB "external Memory" included to future proof the device for the rest of your life with any potential additional content and websites. 8inch screen All day battery life of 6h. Great to use when the lights turns off when they cannot sustain the greatest of North Korea's Great Leader. The system is feather light at 250g.

This device gets the certification of the The Great Leader, and was in fact designed by him in his dream last night!!!

It's only the sequentials that are slower, the 4K random performance is higher. And that's more important for how the system feels.

The Crucial MX300 is SATA just like your Kingston SSDs, but it is still a faster SATA SSD.

79 Potatoes reacted to Jumper118 in What could kill a single CPU core
No. You can even put a different lid on the cpu from the same batch and send it for rma if you really want. There is no storage on a cpu, it would cost more to develop, take more power and save them nothing.

Intel rma service is excellent. They are not like dic hole insurance companies who scrape every last penny out. Cos they make ~60% profit and so they don't need to scape penny's.

Sometimes they even let you rma cpus that are just out of the 3 year warranty period.
