  1. Oh I see! So the next lot will be something else that I will need to know or can find out extremely fast! Man, this will suck for many of us with slow reflexes!
  2. I watched the video and struggling the find this Kanomi Code Linus mentioned? No idea what this or where to find it, anyone here help please?
  3. Looking through the OP SSD rank list I don't see ones sold by Netac anyone here know of them and how they fare against in the list? Link here will show an example of one.
  4. If this giveaway is international ( as I'm from the UK ) then count me in!.. Everyone with a PC not running with an SSD needs an SSD because they will make the PCs' life so much easier, plus the PC will run much smoother, quicker, quieter, and less hungry on you power / electric bill... So, the reason I want to win one of these isn't for me but for my cousin because he's still running on an HDD as his boot drive and it runs like a slug on dry land!..
  5. Thanks all for your comments!.. Very appreciated!.. I thought that was the point of one of these?.. I have a spare Antec 620w PSU for backup just in case the one in my rig ( see siggy ) suddenly dies, I can switch to it with little time wasted...However, if the rig PSU is still live and kicking and if I ever need a second GPU in the future and I come across a great secondhand price this spare PSU combined with my rig PSU using that adapter would give me a quick solution to my power requirements and help give me that extra time towards saving up for that proper high powered quality PSU, and also that extra time to save up for that GPU upgrade to replace this GPU and my future crossfire upgrade GPU ( just my way of method to my madness [emoji14] )...
  6. What issues would I come across by using one of THESE ( shown in picture below ) to link up two different PSUs to gain similar same power output of a single high power PSU of the same caliber?.. Would appreciate all the help I can get here please?.. Thanks...
  7. Okay, no reply, thanks... Any ways, I've written to the eBay seller and he is gonna send me another one of these drives without having to send this one back which instead just asks me to dump it, so my worry is still the same but am I still able to use this drive for non-critical data usage?.. Will this drive function for much longer?.. Should I even bother thinking about using this drive?.. Would appreciate some sound advice please!?. Thanks...
  8. I would very much like to get some advise and an external verdict in regarding to the below paragraghs please... I just received a 3TB Toshiba Enterprise drive from eBay ( link HERE to the sale ) and as soon as I got it connected to my system I ran CrystalDiskInfo to check health status which resulted in the below image... So, I ran in disk management a full ( in GPT ) format of the drive and then in HDTune ran a full error scan before loading up CrystalDiskInfo to see if matters have changed but alas the health status and C6 error is still present, though the format and error scan found no issues whatsoever!.. Should I be worried about this because of its eminent demise and return this back for an exchange asap ( which I am inclined to do so ) or am I just being overly worried?.. Thanks, and await you good people's response!..
  9. A bit late on this but Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!.. This would be a great little replacement for my mum's old LGA 775 system and it will save a lot of space in the living room!..
  10. Thanks, much appreciate your response! So, what you're trying to say is that even if the SanDisk SSD is older and a smaller drive, because it was a premium drive when it was first released thus higher performance, it's still able to keep up with some of the bigger drives of today's budget SSDs?.. As I mentioned before, will only be using this drive as my OS / software drive and the Crucial 240GB as my games only drive, but this is on the basis that the SanDisk 120GB IO performance and responsiveness is better!.. I guess I'll just have try it out and experience the difference if there is any!.. Again, much appreciate the first response!..
  11. It's about that time for me to do a full wipe and fresh Windows installation again and I'm debating whether I should go back to my 120GB SSD ( specified in title ) for OS and programs only and use the Crucial M500 240GB SSD for games only, do you people here think this is an unwise idea?.. Looking on HERE at the 120GB SSD compared to HERE at the 240GB SSD the IO performance on the 120GB drive does look to be better than the 240GB SSD... Much appreciate any input received!.. Thanks...
  12. Do you prefer to sacrifice frame rate to get higher resolution & detail / quality or sacrifice resolution / quality for the higher frame rate? Just been debating with me cousin regarding fast pace games such as first person shooters or racing games... Just thought I ask this question to see which of us you people will side with more!.. Let the debate begin!..
  13. Thanks to Darrin Lynch for joining us today!.. Really enjoyed the show!.. :3
  14. Well, let's just hope it wasn't a warranty replacement drive already when I bought it from the original owner and also hope he will help with warranty claim if it isn't a replacement drive... Thanks for the response!..
