No, you won't be able to boot up at all. You follow the procedure described on page 11 of that board's manual.

Is this based on any actual personal experience of yours or just repeating a "lol AMD drivers" meme? If you've had recent AMD cards and had problems I don't begrudge you your personal preferences (although somebody out there has a horror story for every tech brand) but there is a lot of shit talked about AMD cards from people who haven't actually had one in multiple generations, and if we're going by secondhand experiences, well, there are way more troubleshooting posts on this forum from people with Nvidia cards than AMD.

The 6600 and 3060 are really closely matched in performance and the 6600 is usually available for less. For the prices 3060's are going for, you can get a 6600 XT, which clearly beats both of them. Unless OP wants to make use of NVENC or puts a lot of stock in DLSS (ray tracing won't be a great experience with either card so I don't even think it's worth taking into consideration) I really have a hard time recommending the 3060.

Disclaimer: I currently use an RX 6800 (which I'm very pleased with all things considered) but since the beginning of 2019 I've used about a dozen different GPU's, half from team green and half from team red.

Here we go, excuse the copy-paste but,
Are you sure you can hear the difference in lossless files? I've done extensive phase inversion analysis between 320kbps MP3s, WAV and FLAC files and really there's almost no difference. Try this link, I compared a FLAC I had laying around with a 320kbps MP3 (that I created from the FLAC) and phase inverted one, the differences are so minuscule that to really hear them you have to turn your volume way up.

This link lets you test your hearing against lossless and lossy files to see if you can hear a difference. Try that too

In practice I think a decent MP3 player (or just using your phone, maybe with external dacamp) will be more than good enough

all the V series phones have a quad dac. withthe v1- being the worse but stills ounds pretty decent. the asian G6, any g7, g8, and 8x.if you can find them used or even new sometimes for the older v series they can be found at your desired price point. even come with easily replaceable batteries/

AMD is launching new CPU's (likely late 2020) but a 3600 is a damn good gaming CPU regardless and I highly doubt an new R5 4600 would cost the same as the 3600 does right now. And Nvidia is launching new GPU's, likely in the next few months, but they will all be out of budget, as the mid-lower end cards typically launch much later (if past Nvidia launches are anything to go by). The Rx 5700XT is nearly a 2070S equal with regards to gaming, and costs less than a 2060S, to me even now it's a great buy. AMD will also launch Big Navi possibly this year, but it may be Christmas time by the time new GPU's are obtainable.

I would not have any buyers remorse with a 3600 and RX 5700XT at $900 all in, you can game at 1080p 144FPs+ high-ultra settings. I got an RX 5700 a month ago and I am pretty impressed with it, outperforms my GTX 1080.

Power supply prices are still hyper inflated. I'm seeing 650W units going for 50%+ higher cost than what I paid for a 850W unit a couple years ago.

Replace it when you start to hear a significant sound quality difference that isn't caused by a noisy record or fixed by cleaning the stylus/record.

Your turntable isn't an audiophile piece of kit and neither is mine, just enjoy it, if you really break something or it loses quality drastically you can replace the stylus, those stock styli are real cheap.

The 1000x are are by no means bad they are great. Nice airy highs and more present bass. If you want the wide airy headphones by no means grab the 1000x I even recommend the 2000x for that matter  they are great for classical. The beauty of headphonesa and audio are we have different ears and musical preferences. I listen to hip hop, indie and alternative genres. And love my mids and bass so love headphones with meaty bass and present mids with a apreciation for detail in the highs. My general tastes tend to line up with Sennheiser and beyerdynamic headphones as their house sounds are perfect for my music tastes. Honestly to get to my point straight is if you can find a way to demo them before buying so it because no matter what I say we don't hear the same things nor do we look for the same things in what we are hearing

700X/1000X will probably be what you're looking for as far as classical goes. I don't really know what to recommend for rock/punk, as I don't really listen to those genres. The indie that I tend to listen to is generally more acoustic focused, so if that's similar to what you listen to, then the 700X/1000X will probably be up your alley for that too. Be aware that they are going to have A LOT less low end though.

As for an amp/DAC.. I still probably wouldn't get one. Neither of those headphones really need all that much power to drive, and you're not likely to notice a difference worth mentioning for any amount of money through an amp/DAC with those cans anyway.

How experienced are you in coding? For fundraisers, maybe do a "Taking donations to clean computers" thing. Idunno. Maybe go around to local companies? For sponsors I'd go to larger local computer businesses. What do you need a sponsor for?

Have fun, I wouldn't suggest that you turn this into a programming class as people might get bored, hands on work a lot better then listening to someons drone on.

One object oriented language(C++) and one scripting language(python) is all you need. If you master these, you can learn others in less than a week on need basis.

    Hi
A while ago I posted a thread about making a computer science and engineering club. I followed through with that idea and now I am conflicted. I don't know what I should teach them. I know that I will teach the club how to program in various languages and how to build a computer, but what then? What activities should we do? Should I do a fundraiser with donuts to raise money for computer parts so the club can actually build a computer? Also most of the people in the club are beginners.
Please ask me any further questions if I wasn't clear.
    Thanks

If you're messing with a bunch of nuggets who never had programming experience before, you should really teach them the concepts of how computers work first, then work on the fundamentals of what every programming language must do.

I find it kind of counterproductive to teach people a programming language without teaching the underlying meaning of what's going on. It's like in English, there's a difference when you have a reading assignment to regurgitate what's in the book rather than discuss the underlying themes and all that.

Honestly the same happened with me, i started a science club , but every one is quite younger than me , and tbh dont know much, but try as much as possible to keep things fun while making them learn , like for example ,  I did a Chemistry project to help them measure liquids ( boring topic)  but they needed to measure out two liquids , and mix them . I used Glow Stick Chemicals and i told them only if its precise it will glow, it was fun and in otherwise they learnt , so idk if that helps , but its what i used to help me ,

    5. Is the RAM seated correctly. Is the CPU seated correctly. Are the PSU cables plugged all the way in...
