What was the game originally made for?

Depends on it really. The M65 is marketed as FPS mouse, but the Corsair Sabre (Optical) is better, because the optical sensor used in that mouse has no acceleration whatsoever.

Laser sensors will always have acceleration issues, so it's not ideal for precise movements, as you may overshoot or undershoot (negative acceleration) targets.

For games where precision is a must, Corsair Sabre Optical.
If you like to play FPS games, but don't have a good mouse surface, or you play on unusual surfaces (like glass), then either the M65 or Sabre Laser version.

LISTEN UP: Don't use votes to decide because it comes down to personal preference. First off, I'd like to say IF YOU USE the sniper button the M65 would be the better choice, but keep in mind that you can set a sniper button on the Sabre's thumb buttons and that if you do use it you have to TRAIN with it. You have to make it muscle memory. I've used it, but I almost always forget about it, distract myself by taking the time to press the buttons, or I miss my shot because I'm not used to a lower DPI. Second, the Sabre has an OPTICAL version. Most people will agree that Optical mice are better in every way except for DPI. If you really need a DPI over 6000 you should stop using that DPI unless you're an MLG Pro who does 17 360s at a time. Also, the SABRE IS LIGHTER. This is the main reason you would pick the Sabre. If you like light mice, pick the Sabre. if you like heavy mice you can pick the M65. It also has adjustable weights which are a nice touch imo.

    Get the Sabre if:
    You like light mice
You don't intend to use the sniper button (I don't know anyone that does use it)
You want a choice to pick between a Laser and an Optical sensor
You want a pretty mouse :3 It's definitely prettier than the M65. If you've ever seen the M65 IRL you'll notice that the scroll wheel isn't lit up. The area around it is.

You do use the sniper button a lot
