  1. I get 99% sometimes at 1080p but i play at 144hz (gtx 1080)
  2. sounds like it may be hitting a voltage limit or your overdrive is set too high. I was having the same issues when i was trying out a 1070ti. Temps maxed out at 65c but was hitting a voltage wall.
  3. But temps are not the issue here. I've never heard of a card throttling under 70c
  4. cranked the fans which gave me 62c max but still throttled about 50mhz. I guess its just the way it is.
  5. Another problem. GPU is throttling at 60c. I have it oc'd to 2ghz core and after about 5 min it goes to 1924-1911. Should i increase the voltage or power limit? The limit goes up to 133%
  6. Just ran time spy and got a score of 6703 gpu 7318 and cpu 4543. Running at 100% during the gpu tests and the cpu was at 96% during cpu tests. GPU never got past 64c.
  7. I will narrow it down then look to see what fps those games max out at. Thx
  8. I've been noticing this lately (with any video card) that in some games where i know i should be getting 144fps i may be getting 90-110. Both gpu and cpu are maybe at 50-60% usage. Acer 144hz 1080p, MSI titanium 1070Ti (max temps 68c stock), 16gb corsair lpx ram 2400mhz, i5 7600k @ 4.8ghz (max temps 72c)
  9. 1080p 144hz. I picked up the MSI Titanium 1070Ti last night and in alot of games im getting close to the 144fps in high to ultra settings now not overclocked (yet) and temps max out around 68c with default fan curve.
  10. Here in canada the price difference between the 1070ti and 1080 is $127. I'm still deciding what to do.
  11. I was about to post the same question but here in canada the difference between the 1070ti and 1080 is $125. A lot of places do not price match due to stupid miners wrecking it. When you OC the 1070ti you are at 1080 speeds.
  12. Just played some new wolfenstein and nothing above 70% there but mainly hovering around 45-60% GpU is at 99% quite a bit. I might be able to get $320 for my 980 and get a new 1070 ti for $640 (cad)
  13. how could my cpu be a bottleneck if the max usage ive ever seen was 65%?
  14. Funny thing is i used to have 2 980 ti's but i sold them for a really good price. Sold my gaming pc and downsized but still want to keep the fluidness of games. I think ill turn the nonsense settings down like shadows and motion blur a bit and set my monitor to 120hz for those certain games.
  15. i turned off motion blur and lowered shadow quality but i dont want to turn down settings really. That takes away from the experience. I guess i could do that for now and when a 1080 becomes cheaper i could get one of those.
